My friend in Spain said he uses Amazon.de as it's cheaper postage than using .co.uk

Tried the Amazon.es site they don't do them! Will try Amazon.co.uk and see what postage comes up as

I have a York vinyl one 4kg (which am outgrowing as am now already using by 10lb Kettleworx one which I love!) Would similar be Reebox / Fitness-Mad?

Love the Kettlewox one as its so small compared to the York one.

I bought the ******* offer, and they delivered within 2 days, pretty impressed.

Just did the first workout, a cardio one... and ummm, it was a killer! There are some exercises i cannot do at all and i gave up after 10 minutes - and here was me thinking i'd got pretty fit lately after 6 weeks of very regular cross-trainer exercise! Going to stick with it though unless i get an injury, and just keep plugging away, i like a challenge .

Don't give up, it will get easier, honest! Cardio Wk1 is the very worst session on the whole programme. What weight bell are you using? You might want to consider dropping down so you can manage the whole workout?
    Sue

    Kettleworx:
98cm lost over 7 rounds of Kettleworx and Kettleworx Advanced Programmes.
Continue to do 3 sessions per week, alternating the basic and advanced programmes using a range of bells between 5kg and 10kg.

    Weight Loss:
YEAR 1: 5 STONE 9 LBS LOST! TARGET ADJUSTED FROM 11 STONE TO 10 STONE
YEAR 2: GOAL OF 10 STONE REACHED ON WEEK 69, 1st SEPTEMBER 2012

OPERATION BUFFER STARTS NOW - I plan to lose 4-5lbs which will help me in my quest to remain under the 10 stone barrier for the rest of my life. I will continue to weigh in every Saturday and continue to follow my exercise programme. I shall follow the WW ProPoints regime during the week and then kick back slightly at the weekends. I feel like a weight (ha ha) has been lifted off my shoulders and I will do whatever I need to to maintain my weight.

C25K - started 1 October 2012 and finished 1 December 2012. Record so far is 4.5k in 30 minutes, running at 5.5mph on my treadmill. Phew!

Good for you for making a start! I only started a few weeks ago and already I love the bells. As Sue said, consider lowering the weight to get through more. You can also do modifications although Ryan doesn't often suggest them. For example I do planks on my knees, or for the squat - arm press move, I alternate with not doing the squat. So instead of squat - press - squat - press etc I do squat - press - no squat - press - squat - press etc. The legs are the biggest muscles and so knacker you out the quickest. And always remember, there's no shame in pausing when you need to!
Just keep swinging, swinging, swinging... http://www.minimins.com/kettlebells/

Also to add to Plum's good advice, in my experience those folk who go at it "like a bull in a china shop" are those who tend to burn out the quickest. Its not about who can do the longest or most sessions a day, who can lift the heaviest weights etc. Kettlebells really work, so go at the pace you need to, focus on your form and you will improve and get stronger really quickly.

I agree with Sue. When scrubbing my arms in the shower my biceps get in the way teehee. And i take LOADS of breaks and go at a much slower pace.

Got my Kettleworx in the post today! Excited but am not going to start till next week and will finish off this week with my current workout.

Don't know if this will help anyone but when I received my order it came with a fitness tv discount voucher book which has the following:

When I ordered my ******* deal it gave me the option to upgrade to a heavier bell for a small suppliment... £5 for a 10lb instead of 5lb bell. Can't wait to start swinging, although I've done kettlenetics this looks so much more fun!

Thanks for the advice everyone! I started with the cardio session because i figured i was already used to 'cardio' as i've been going on my cross trainer every other day. I even only did exercises at half the rate he did in the video but still had to stop before the end, hehe. My legs are killing today, can't walk or sit straight even but it's a great stretchy pain so all good . I'm only using the 5lb weight.... eek. Will give myself a day or two to recover and crack on with another session. Actually really loving it, i haven't felt like this after exercise since i had a personal trainer a couple of years ago who pushed me hard - all good stuff!

Re the doscount codes, I can't find the advanced dvd set on the Fitness TV website, just the 6 week program for £79.95.

Would love to get hold of the advanced program, preferably at a discount, can anyone help?

    You are very welcome

Splodgergill if I'm not mistaken that is the pack that you are looking for because they give you all of the others as "extras". Anyone? Please correct me if I am wrong.
