    Buy cast iron ones and depending on how fit you are don't get below 4kg to start off with.
    2kg and 3 kg are so light after a couple of weeks you will be buying the next one up.

    If you are going to a shop try them out first.I think it's Sports Direct that have them on shop floor so you can just pick them up.
    They may feel heavy to start with but once you've used it a couple of times it gets easier to swing it.

    Hello!
    My advice also is to definitely get a cast iron one!!! My first was a 3kg from YORK which is vinyl on the outside but is filled with sand! So for its weight is huge! Whereas a 4kg one I just bought is 2 times smaller than the 3 kg! It makes it easier to handle them and play with them!
    It's great exercise Judith! Have fun! I have to restart as well!

    You gave me something to think about this morning.

    There is no reason why I can't take 30 mins every other day to do kettlebells.

    I done Kettleworx a couple of years ago but sold it when I moved.So going to give Jillian Michaels: Shred it with weights workout - Level 1 ago

    I've copied it to a dvd so I can use the tv for it.

    Going to do it Mon,Wed and Fri.I have nothing going on for the next few weeks so got no excuse.
