    Help! Can't get to my meeting!

    Hey all.

    Work has been dreadful for the past two weeks - and tonight I have just been told that there will be no way I can leave at 6 (which I never do except on Thursdays for LL) so I will have to miss my meeting.

    I have enough packs to see me through, but I'm mega worried.

    I have never missed a meeting - I love them and look forward to them. Very panicky that i will go off the rails as am teetering anyway - working 17 hour days does that to you. I honestly feel that I need to eat in order to have enough energy.

    Please help me - i feel out of control and I'm really upset at the thought of not another meeting till next thurs - although im sure i will have a pop in on sunday.

    Why not read the week you are on, in the book, to keep you motivated.
    Have a chat to your LLC, contact someone in your group for support, or come on the forum, where we can help you get through it.
    Whatever you do, do not eat food, this is the worst thing you can do.
    It is very difficult emotionally & psychologically to get back in abstinence after you have eaten.
    The foodpacks give you everything you need, just drink more water if your feeling drained.

    Week 1 - 11lbs
    Week 2 - 4lbs
    My first goal - stick to Abstinence for a week. Achieved 19/11/08
    Second goal - lose a stone. Achieved at unofficial weigh in on 22/11/08
    Third goal - get through a month in abstinence
    Fourth goal - size 14 jeans
    Fifth goal - stick to abstinence for 2 months
    Sixth goal - lose 2 stone
    Seventh Goal - stick to abstinence for 3 months
    Eighth goal - lose 3 stone
    Ninth goal - size 12 jeans
    Tenth goal - lose another half a stone

    I hope you get overtime....

    Don't panic!!! Phone your counsellor and ask her advice.. is there another meeting you could gate crash or even an introduction meeting or something? or ask the councellor if you can have a pop in tomorrow night and Sunday maybe.. anything to stop you feeling out of control... that isn't good and you mustn't reach for food!!!

    You ARE in control and you will make it through until next Thursday. Take care

    oh bless you, my advice is as the others to speak with your councellor if she is worth her weight she will see you privatley, i know ours has done that for someone in our class, please don't eat as you will just feel worse after, i made that mistake yesterday and felt terrible as though my whole week now has been wasted, im back on track now and more determined to be good due to the support of the girls here, just get on line and have a rant i did yesterday but to late not to eat!!
