A book and a blog I'd like to recommend

It's a tough one - recommending things that you like - and not sure if it's the right thing to do, even if it's to do with weight loss and may help/inspire others.

Anyway, I'd like to recommend two things - a book and a blog. For a blog, you can't beat:

    www.dietgirl.org

(it's not about LighterLife, just in case you are wondering).

And second, Dietgirl has her own book, which is going to be published in the new year

The Amazing Adventures of Dietgirl (Paperback)
    by Shauna Reid (Author)

Even without reading it, I know it's going to be a fabulous book. But don't take my word for it - here's what Sarah/Cerulean had to say about her blog (and like many of you, I trust Sarah's judgement!):

"I've spent too much time reading her blog this evening at your recommendation, and I'm put to shame - wow - her story is incredible! I can't wait to read the book - her style is infectious!

Brilliant! - thanks for the pointer, Mrs. - excellent recommendation."

Enjoy. (You can pre-order the book direct from Dietgirl's blog or from mine - it links direct to Amazon.)

    Happy Reading.

Wowzer, Mrs. L - thanks for the recommendation. I'll be back there. Her style is just awesome; I was laughing out loud! And I love her self-deprecating yet kickass attitude. Big thumbs up!

I loved the book, but I cried buckedloads when she was explining about going for a body massage at the end of the book. Definately worth a read.
