Don't do that. When people on total have fewer than 4 packs a day their weight loss actually slows down. Also, you need 4 packs (or 4 packs plus a meal). In addition, you need at least 50 g of protein a day otherwise you are likely to get muscle wastage.

You do however have a couple of options...

    1. Use something like My Fitness Pal to keep track of what you eat. The LL packs are in there so that bit is easy. If you keep below 800 calories and 60g of carbs you will be in ketosis and losing weight quickly. I have moved from total to lite and this is what I do.

    2. Buy some equivalent packs from elsewhere - such as Slim and Save. Then have the fourth pack as a Slim and Save one. You can buy their packs online. However, this is not ideal as your LLC will think that you are eating food which could lead to difficulties during counselling or when doing Route to maintenance.
Reached goal of 130 lbs to lose.

On maintenance I'm a little higher than I would like to be...

I agree with Weasey. there is some scientific evidence which shows that any diet of between 400 and 800 cals will result in the same level of weight loss. So if you count your calories carefully and stay under 800 you will lose as much weight as someone on total. Keep your carbs as low as possible too and you will stay in ketosis.

having the odd day where you have another type of food pack is also an option, but might confuse things a bit. Remember that is your BMI is less than 30 you are still only likely to lose around 2-3 pounds a week even on total. Don't rush things - it will happen in its own time and the counselling will help you to learn he importance of understanding your body and what it needs. T%his is a long term thing and there is no rush.

Would like to be 10st, but hey life goes on. Main aim is to remain at a BMI of under 25 which I have done for almost a year now!
