Thread: returners medical form

I joined lighter life 3 half years ago and lost 4 half stone. I've steadily gained back most of the weight i lost ( but had fun doing it) And after a few failed attempts, i've rejoined and attended my first meeting tonight (although i started diet this morning, as i'd got a few cd shakes nocking around.
However, i'm gutted to learn that my previous health form is no longer valid!!!! I am also gutted to learn thet no longer do thai chilli soup, but i can just about live with that, but I can't face my gp again as he was negative, rude and insulting the first time around and charged me for the priveledge. My health circumstances haven't changed. Has anyone else experiened this issue? I feel like chucking the towel in already or buying some similar diet online, but really find the ll classes beneficial.

Hi there, I started LLT 2 weeks ago and my gp refused to sign the health form so I had to get it done by Superdrug. It seems like they have an agreement with LL but they also charged me £40 for the pleasure. I suppose it depends how much you want to get back on the plan.

The thai chilli soup is still around so thats one piece of good news anyway. Good luck with whatever you decide x

thanks vanda, it just peeves me that i've got to pay 40 quis to someone that doesn't know me or my medical history from adam and that my ll councillor tells me that my nearest particpating superdrug, is a 25 mile drive for me. Unless anyone out there knows if there is one in the sheffield area?? help x
