Hi guys, I've been messing around for a while now, so far I've managed to lose about 20 lbs or so counting calories ( I was all set for LT a few months ago but I had broken my hand and it wasn't healing so had to eat a healthy balanced diet for a while to get that sorted), Bone is now sticking together after almost 9..yes 9 months so I think it's time I can have a think about LT again. The last 3 weeks I've been doing Slimming World, with not much success, as far as I can work out even being 100% on SW equates to more calories than I was eating counting calories so it's just not really working for me..also it's damned expensive, I'm fed up running round Abu Dhabi looking for quorn and fat free yogurt lol!!

So I put it to you wonderful ladies, my wedding anniversary is on 6th May, that's 5 weeks on Sunday , I was 13st 4lbs ( I lost about 11.5 stone to get to that!!) when I got married which was 6 years ago and I'm 15st now, I have about 3 weeks of LT in the cupboard but can get more from my lovely mother in law who has done a deal with the chemist at home for me.

Is it time to give it a whack and get back on the LT bus?? I realise I'm not going to get the full 24lbs off, but I think 14lbs could be done at least maybe???????????????

Easily! I lost 16lb in my first week but I have a lot more to lose... I think you can easily lose a stone in that much time... A stone a month is realistic!

I've got 15 days worth of LT which I'm starting on Sunday as it's 5 weeks until my wedding anniversary and we've declared April as health month so hubs and I are giving it a 100% for the 5 weeks, I've decided to switch over to Exante once my LT is finished, but 16lbs is really amazing in a week!!

I think it's the right decisions as SW is not working for me, I've gained 4lbs this week and I've been 100% on plan, it's very discouraging, even if it is some water retention blip or whatever, time is ticking by and I know on LT/Exnate I won;t get that sort of problem, I feel that I'm really quite looking forward to it!!

Are you planning TFR? or will you be having 1 meal and two shakes?

I've been reading up a lot on S&S and from what I gather you don't lose as much on it but it tastes better!

Going TFR I think it's the best way for the short term anyway, I'll look at it again after the 5 weeks.. From what I hear the Exante does taste better and has a bit more variety, it's mch cheaper as well, but I think these things are pretty much all the same really
