Blocked up - every which way!

Hey guys,

Day 11 now and I'm struggling. Not with the diet/ not eating but the side effects.
Bowel movements have been pretty much non-existent which has left me feeling really rubbish. I've been putting fibreclear in my shakes. I've been drinking 3L of water. I've tried senna tablets. I've tried moviolas and now I've tried an enema (desperate times!!!) all with very little effect. I've been advised by a few members on here to give dulcolax and flaxseed a try. Any other tips?
Also, because of this I'm feeling very full/sick/uncomfortable. I couldn't face my 3rd shake yesterday!

Hi Gie, sorry to hear you're a bit jammed up. I swear by 2dsp of flaxseed in water in the morning ( its a bit like liquid Weetabix but hey its good stuff) fibroclear didn't work for me but the flaxseed keeps me like clockwork everyday and its full of Omega 3 which is food as you need to keep the balance of Omega 6 and Omega 3 balanced to keep everything running smoothly. The flaxseed is milled organic and £6 from Holland and Barrett. Someone on here also mentioned a herbal tea that's got senna in it, not any flowers or seeds, just senna leaves, might be worth a try. Dulcolax is what I find works best for me but does give me very bad abdominal cramps :(

I can now add dulcolax to my list of digestive medication! And so far, nothing :(
Tomorrow I'll be adding flax seed haha

Good luck with the flaxseed, I take it about 8am every morning and it takes 24 hours and made me regular as clockwork, am now sorted every morning, before I leave for work, it's a habit I'll keep when I've finished LT because if I don't I can't bear the consequences :eek:
 
I found fibreclear to be useless too.

I take psyllium husk which seems to work even in very small doses. You can get it from health food shops.

I agree Psyllium Husk are my essential helper on LT! X
 
Coffee is a laxative. I have a cup in the morning and on day 8 it had worked so far for me!!
 
I have the opposite problem. I need something to clogg me up. Scared to break wind these days lest I have an accident lmao n onlyday 3!
