Hi everyone.
I am starting the lipo trim diet tomorrow morning.. eekk! at the moment I'm quite excited to be actually doing something positive about my weight.
All of the weight loss results on here are making me feel its achievable :eek: but i am concerned with how i will cope with the lack of food and diet coke :eek:
Do people suffer with lack of energy? do people still exercise? anyone suffered hair thinning and loss?

Hi Claire,

Well done for taking control. :) No one will lie that this is a hard diet. I just read a quote there:

"Losing weight is hard, maintaining is hard, being overweight is hard, choose your hard"

The first week is difficult but once you get over that you will be flying.

I think it's a good time to reflect on the reasons and bad habits that got us where we are today.. I think these insights really help your mindset.

There are days you feel sorry for yourself... But genuinely nothing and I mean nothing tastes as good as being comfortable in your own skin feels...

No hair loss for me.. I do a bit of walking but nothing to strenuous. They don't advise it on the first week anyway :)

Hon this is my second time round and my hair is waist length and never noticed any issues! The positives far outweigh (if you pardon the pun) the negatives. It's tough, it's a journey and it's a time for us to think and learn and make lifestyle changes- don't rush to exercise, let yourself get used to one challenge at a time and feel good that really to reach a destination is just a accumulation of many little steps- each one taking you closer!
 
Hi curveappeal, thank you for the reply. well i had my first shake this morning (strawberry) and it was ok; so I'm not too concerned about how i will get on with them now. i have also just cleared out my wine and diet cola stash and felt good doing it too.
i think its about control for me and I'm all or nothing, so yeah i understand that as complicated women we eat for other reasons and mine is when I'm not in control, so today i am changing a few other things too.

That's it exactly, Ive made changes In all areas of my life and it's a wonderful feeling to be in control...
 
Ho joaniek, thanks for answering about the hair lol, i watched the video clip and the guy worried me when he mentioned it. I am thinking about taking some vitamins, do you take any supplements with this diet?

No you can't take anything extra whilst on lipotrim.... All your essential nutrients are in the products.. :)
 
Nope I don't take any supplements as they are supposed to all be in it. I've never noticed issues and I would say I notice my nails weaken quickly if I'm not eating right and never noticed it on LT...

Well i have had my soup for lunch and tea it was not too bad, i am happy to eat it twice a day. I have just been and brought lots of bottles of sparkling water to replace my cola. For the first time ever i have had my coffee without milk and i think i like it. I know its only the first day, but I'm feeling this is do-able. whoop whoop.
 
Well done - if you can do one day you can do 100! Stick with it and remember as curveappeal says day 3 &4 are rough. Hibernate if you have to!!
 
I can't really add much to what the 2 girlies have put as they have summed it perfectly :) Don't let day 3 and 4 stop you either as once you do that it does get easier, honestly.

I drank lots of diet coke before LT. I miss it but feel it's another thing I needed to change (as it can't be good for you) and have changed cos of LT. I choose LT as I am no good with weighing food and counting points or calories .. I just end up cheating. So I wanted a strict but simple plan. This is both. If I can do this, anyone can so keep it up.

set mini goals, keep yourself busy, pamper yourself and remember nothing tastes as good as feeling slim feels. And if you feel you want to give up then log on here for inspiration, look at the before and after pics thread and we'll all keep you 100% x

Done this diet before and was going to start last Monday , only when I got up it was snowing and because I know this diet so well I knew I'd be in for a hard time , so I chickened out dumb I know.
Hoping to start Tuesday need to go get weighed etc lost 4 stone 10 lb last time stupidly I gained 2 stone 4 lb so I need to get it down for my sons cpnfirmation in April . Asked my doctor if it was ok and his not 100% behind me , but I was on a lot of medication and steroids, hoping I'll get in the zone best of luck to all
Have to say I found this forum brilliant the last time

Hey don't focus on the past, the future is what's important - you're starting this week and taking control. Just over 2st isn't bad esp when steroids are a factor!! Good luck for starting!

Hi folks, day 3 and I'm suffering from insomnia lol. I'm hungry but otherwise ok. Feel more alert and skin less puffy already. Wishing it was Thursday though (weigh day) xx how's everybody??
 
Funny I haven't been sleeping as solidly as I was but hadn't put the 2 together!
 
Think its all the coffee haha:eek: and the fact i used to eat big meals and always felt sluggish afterwards, so guessing my body is not having to work so hard.
 
I googled it and there does seem to be others so it's probably more diet than caffeine related. How are you getting on today?
