The Journey Starts Tomorrow

Hi all! This is my first post. But I'm hoping sharing on here will keep me going.

After hearing about the great results a friend of mine has had on LT, I have decided to give it a go.

I've tried low calorie/healthy eating diets before. But I always seems to lose well for the first 4-6 weeks, then it just stops and nothing I do will better it. This then just depresses me so I go back to eating rubbish. I'm 33 & back up to approx 19.5st at the moment and want to get around 5st off.

So... my basic plan is to go to the pharmacy near work in the morning and get started tomorrow. I have a holiday to Thailand in 8 weeks, so I want to try and get at least 2st off before then. Have a break for my holiday then, come back and get on it until I'm where I want to be.

And I'm already very aware that my biggest obstacle will be getting in from work and not being able to have a glass of wine or two! That is going to kill me! I can also see a lot of issues coming up in my social life as I regularly eat out with friends.

I reckon I'll be on here constantly checking out all of your results to keep me motivated.

Good luck Rich! Social aspect can be tricky but you do get used to it! Always a bonus waking up without a hangover too! Once you've overcome it on the first occasion the rest are easier to handle.
go check out some of the success stories on here, they are really inspirational. First 4-5 days are the hardest then it does get better. Just pop on here if you struggle and we'll talk you round. And drink shed loads of water :)

Good luck Rich on day 1. The first few days are the hardest but it does get easier. You should well achieve your goal of 2st in 8 weeks. You should wave bye bye to your social life sadly, especially if it's eating out and drinking as sadly there is no compromise on LT.

Good luck- there are some good threads to advise how to get through the first week. Just in case you aren't aware the first 4 days can be very tough- drink plenty of water, take paracetamol if needed and take plenty of rest. Once you are on the other side it isn't as difficult.

Thanks everyone for the support.

Hit my first speed bump though. Both pharmacies listed on the lipotrim website near my work stopped offering LT "some time ago" so not been able to start today. However I have the day off tomorrow so will find somewhere near to home.

And we're off!

Weighed in 10lb higher than I thought I was!! So that has just spurred me on more. Just had my first shake (vanilla) and it was actually quite nice. :)

H well that is a good start! 10lb off your target already! :)
