Do i embed you tube videos?
Tried everything i can think of, but silly me can't do it!!!!:sigh:

When you're writing a new post/thread in the advanced box there is a YouTube button in the controls at the top of the box. Click that and it'll give you something like this [you*tube][/you*tube] (no asterisks) Get the code for your video and stick it inbetween those two codes ([you*tube]codegoeshere[/you*tube]) Without the asterisks

Just tried playing and that worked. Try it out hun see if I messed up in explaining lol

Simply, all that needs to be done is stick the code from YT in the middle of the code that Minimins will give you for clicking on the button. No spaces no added stuff and it should work hunni x

At the end of the youtube link there's a code that starts with v=

Copy what it equals
eg V=ABCD1234
Copy the ABCD1234

Put it in your message, highlight it and press

It works 99% of the time. If it's a particularly large file, it can sometimes just leave a big blank space.

Feeling a bit better today. Pi55ed off at the fact that the boy's birthday present has gone walkies though, either through the incompetence of Royal Mail or my thieving robbing neighbours. Can't replace it either as I haven't the money or the time - his birthday is this Saturday

No. The eBay guy has proof of postage so hopefully I can at least reclaim some of the money but it's completely besides the point really. I hate living in a building with lots of other flats. It's supposed to be pretty posh (pffft) but if something is too big to fit in a mail box the postman just leaves it on top for anyone with wandering fingers to pick up. Does my head in!! Anyway, enough of that - I'm sure he won't mind, he's still got a few other small bits and pieces, just not a lot now. Will just have to compensate LOL
