Couch to 5K

Lumpy

One day at a time
Hi guys!

I'm feeling pretty good and decided to start the couch to 5k!

I have never run in my life! But I managed to 'run' for 8 minutes in short bursts this morning. So proud of myself

Thanks so much!!!

I really am the most unfittest person in the whole world! The 8 minutes was a total of short bursts of 90 seconds with walking in between! Just as I thought I couldn't do anymore the podcast said, and slow down to walking.......it was brilliant! Music wasn't bad either!

Such fun.....who knew!!!

well done for starting this, a friend of mine started a few weeks ago and is now getting through 3 miles without stopping, its a great thing to do, good luck x

Congrats to you! I'm the most unfit person possibly in the world right now, I literally can't walk up the stairs in my work office without huffing and getting a mini hot flush, it's ridiculous! I really should do something like this but I wouldn't last, I need to train my body into fitness I think. You guys are inspirational doing stuff like this, I really admire it. :)

Well done you :D I would love to be able to run, but I think the good people of Essex are not ready for that sight just yet ;)

Thanks so much for the lovely comments and words of support.

I have lost 5 and a half stone twice before doing a vlcd. i didn't do any excercise. I'm determined this time will be different!

I'd love to do the couch to 5k, am soooo unfit at the moment, but think I want to lose a bit of the weight first then hopefully I won't bounce so much when trying to run! x
