I did it by the book last week, having a normal shake for breakfast and today I have bought some of the maintenance drinks to replace the breakfast shake, but the problem is, I can feel myself starting to obsess about food again and if I am honest, I carry on eating even though I can feel I am full. I am eating fat free products and do try to avoid the carbs, even though we need a certain amount but I feel I am losing control again. I would go back on Lipotrim but my husband would be cross with me, he likes having me 'back' - sharing a meal at the table again. I only have 12lb's to lose and did lose another 2lb last week but I am really afraid that I will lose all self control and gain weight again. I don't crave any bad foods funny, enough. No foods that I used to eat, it's just I want to eat lots of salad, fish and fruit. Any tips girls? I can't be the only one to feel this, I know but I am so afraid of failing. I have messed up every diet that I have ever tried and I was so proud that I did so well on this one but a big part of me, the negative voice in my head is saying 'go on, eat it - you know you're gonna put it all back on anyway' . It's really getting me down now and I thought re-feed would be a joyous occasion! I would be grateful for any advice guys. Thank you for listening. X

(Thanks to Jan for making me see that the other day ) Sometimes i think its all to do with these low fat, low calorie products - i think the majority of it is all to do with mentality. Thinking that youve had a low fat/low calorie something can make us think we want more as they are low fat/low calorie ........ does that make sense?!

You need to start asking yourself a few questions.....and thinking what would happen if you just went back to what you used to do! You would start putting the weight on for one, but you will also start to feel fed up, etc, etc...so it really isnt worth it! Trust me, I had to do LT three times, but you get to a point where you realise you need to call time on yourself!!! Only you can do it, and ask yourself WHY you are wanting to overeat...even if it is fruit, etc..there is somethign that is making you want to reach for the food! It isnt an easy road, we can all testify to that, but it is achieveable.....but nip it in the bud now and dont allow these niggles in your head to take hold. Be positive and believe in yourself. Just keep coming on here and ranting, etc...you will sure find support! |

Beck: Books and is just over £6, a bargain! now you have tackled the weight, you need to tackle your thinking. also I agree with the Slimming World suggestion, I think that and this book will give you a really good shot at maintianing the weight loss and reaching your goal. |

At least you are recognising at an early stage that your old habits are likely to resurface. You are also right that going back on LT is not the solution either. We all must live in the realworld of food and it is not plain sailing. Personally, I find having low fat this and calorie reduced that a pain as so many of these products have so many additives and you still feel hungry. Since finishing Lipotrim, I have followed a GL way of eating. I highly recommend reading anything by Patrick Holford or Nigel Denby. I am maintaining my losses and losing a little each week which suits me. My honest belief is, that once we tend towards weight then we will always have to be vigilant if we want to keep it off. We cannot return to old ways. Keep one thing in mind, "Calories in must be less than or equal to the calories we burn". Otherwise we will gain weight. We will all have days/weeks when we slip but then we must row back on the damage in the following days/weeks. Don't obsess about calorie counting, eat healthy food whilst watching the carbs, drink plenty of water, keep portions small and go do something else when the munchie attacks hit you. You have come a long way and keep at this!!

The trouble is, I came of too soon. It was the assistant that said my body has had enough and that I should re-feed even though I had not reached target. When I saw the pharmasist the following week, he was a bit miffed that I had re-fed. Anyeay, after much soul searching, I have gone back on Lipotrim. I bought some extras on eBay so that I would have more choice and so I have about two weeks supply left. So I startedon Monday. I went for weigh-in today and I have already lost 2lb so I feel much more positive. I know I will have to face the re-feed again soon but I'm hoping that knowing I have reached my goal, I will be more positive about it all. Thank you for your replies though. This forum has really helped me on my journey. I couldn't have done this without you guys. XxX
