Really scared re. leaving LT and going onto SW or other diet

So I've been refeeding for 1 week and, I admit, have had a few non-kosher snacks at my nephew's birthday party etc, but on the whole have stuck to it 100%.
I've put on 2lbs in the week but I'm not surprised at this as I have had some crisps and a cheese and ham roll (see above) so I am assuming this is water weight.
My real concern is that after depriving my body of calories for so long, how will my body cope with going on SW? Will this lead to massive weight gain?

Any thoughts would be really helpful as I'm stuck as to what to do.

Im curious about this too as im refeeding soon and i think slimming world is a good way to healthy eating and also love my carbs..Hopefully after a couple of weeks of refeeding it should be fine..fingers crossed :)
 
Hi, I'm far from refeeding yet but am planning to go on SW eventually. I help weekly at my friends SW and think it's a healthy plan once I've conquered my binge demons!

I think I would be cautious with the extra easy / green plans at first and stick with red days, to keep low carb. Maybe introduce one extra easy day a week, and introduce Syns gradually, then see how it affects weight? Found that if I weighed at SW on a Thursday, I could get away with carb days at the weekend, and the higher protein days again before weigh day would flush out the water gained earlier in week.

Also, when I've done SW before, I found I got carried away with portions (what with so many 'free' foods), so I know for me, portion control will definitely be a massive factor when I re-start after LT.

I think it's a fab and easy plan for healthy eating as a way of life...and after your success on LT, I'm sure you could make it work for you!
