Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Finding maintenance difficult Hi all, As title says Im finding it extremely difficult on maintenance. Just started my 2nd wk on it today after my wk away last week and my weight gain. Im having 2 bars and low fat meal or a bar and soup and low fat meal. I have no energy and just want to eat all the time. I swore to myself while I was on tfr that I would be very strict on maint but Im hungry all the time. Anyone any advice? |

My Mood: Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() Diet: Lipotrim | How do you use the maintenance? The website says eat them before a low fat meal cos they make you eat less of the meal after but some people use them as a meal replacement. I'm not sure which one you're supposed to do but if you go on LT website you could try that and see how it goes. Increase fibre intake it will keep you fuller for longer. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() Diet: Lipotrim | I asked what I have to do at chemist yesterday and they just said I could either have two a day and a meal or one and two meals and to go on the website but that said something completely different! So I have no idea what i'm doing as of next week. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 63 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Lipotrim | I was told the same hun but i chose not to use the maintenance! I have weetabix with skimmed milk for breakfast and thats about the same calories as a maintenance bar and more filling! I havent gained a pound doing it this way! I think maintenance is great if you struggle with eating 3 meals but it has to be worth a try xx

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi all, Chemist told me to have 2 maintenance products instead of 2 meals and then 1 low fat meal with no snacks in between. I found this hard to stick to last week cos I was on hols so hence my weight gain. Im trying to stick to it this week. I have pointed the bars using ww system and it has value of 4 points. So if I have 2 bars a day (8 pts) and low fat meal of say chicken and 0 pt veg, I would be eating well below my required calories for the day and only eating something like 12 points when I could have 20 on ww. As Tracy said 2 weetabix and skimmed milk works out less than the bar (3pts). Chemist says the maint prods are low gi foods so are meant to keep you fuller for longer. Plus the maintenance products work out expensive (E3.29 each) as you also have to buy your food for the meal. I will try and stick to it for next week or so. Have hens wkend coming up wkend after next so will decide what to do then, I might go back on tfr for few weeks (I miss it) |

My Mood: Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Lipotrim | You are giving yourself to hard a time bindi - 2.5lb's in the grand scheme of things is not a lot. The bars are low GI I have one for my brekkie everyday and they do keep you very full and they are really tasty. What you are doing sounds fine just give yourself a whole week without weighing yourself. Are you drinking all your water?

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi oxally Yeah Im gonna give myself a week on it and see how I get on. I wasnt drinking enough water while I was away so getting stuck into it today, I was drinking 4litres a day before I went away. Do you think there would `be any harm if maybe I replaced the lunchtime bar with a tuna salad an odd day (would work out less calories than the bar). Im finding that the brekkie bar keeps me going til lunch then have another bar and Im hungry soonafter. Had the soup yday and its not as satisfying as the bar I have to say. Having grilled chicken breast with salad tonight for my dinner. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah I read that alright that you have the bars about half hour before your meals but chemist told me to have them to REPLACE the meal. See thats what I mean if I have the 2 bars and low fat meal it only adds up to about 12 or so ww points, you have to eat a minimum of 18 on ww (think my allowance is 20). |
