What an amazing result for 1 week, you must be so happy with that.
I didn't manage to lose that much in the whole of January (mind you, I had real trouble getting over day 1 without caving!!!)

So I stuck my cold hands up his back! Now we are both agreed that it is

I wear a fleecy jogging suit around the house with thermal underwear underneath. I sit with a blanket over my legs when relaxing in the evening and under the blanket I put an oat warmer on my feet. 30 mins before going to bed I put on my electric underblanket (a single one on my side of the bed only) and then sleep with it on setting number 1 each night. This really works for me.

Three waterbottles, fleece pjs and handwarmers and I'm still cold. My hands are like a dead persons. I hug a cup of peppermint tea at all times.

Thanks Guys! Am very thrilled with week one results. Tomorrow is the last day of week two & although I know I won't have anything as large a loss this week, I am secretly wishing on at least 3 or 4kgs.

Still feeling the cold (now sleeping with a wooly hat on ~ very attractive!, and the electric blanket on too). Great news is that the insomnia has got much better. Still waking up (the effects of so much water!), but I can get back to sleep pretty straight away now.

You're right about when a body is cold you shiver to keep warm which burns calories! Still don't like to be cold though!

    New start, new year!

    Week 0 = 112kg
    Week 1 = 105kg
    Week 2 = 103kg - That's 1/4 of my total weight to loose!!
    Week 3 = 100.9kg
    Week 4 =

I am so pleased (for me!) that everybody is feeling the cold. I thought it was just me. I now wear long johns to bd as well as hot water bottles and bed socks!. Previously I was always so hot. My wife always use to use me to warm up and now it's the other way round. Mind you , that has it's benefits!!

God said let there be light and it was good although you still couldn't see anything!
