Do or die....

Well here I am, my third attempt on Lipo. I lost over 3 stone on the plan in 2007, but failed to re-feed correctly and gained a lot back. I then had my third child in 2009 and my weight has crept up and up since then. I had the shock of my life on Saturday 1st Jan when I went for my first weigh-in. I knew I'd put weight on but when she told me 18st 4lb I was gutted.
I didn't start this until today as I have several failed attempts within the first week, but I've just finished Day 6 today and I know I won't be failing this time.
I struggled on Day 1 and 2, and I think the reason for this is that the fewer days you have behind you, the less you have to lose by eating again.
The further into it I got last time the more determined I became and the more I wanted it!
I am currently a size 18/20 - I'm bottom heavy! When I did Lipo last time I was down to a size 14 and I think I looked quite fantastic. This time I will surpass that and get down to a 12 or possibly a 10. I have another 7 or 8 months to go so I'm in this for the long-haul.
I have a friends wedding to look forward to at the end of August, so that will most likely be the next time I eat.
All social functions/nights out are cancelled between now and then (with the exception of a family holiday but I am sticking to the shakes not re-feed). I'll go crazy with sparkling water that week ;)
Anyway nice to meet you all I'm off to read some more now!

hey amanda and welcome to the forum!! the title of your diary really struck with me. And i know exactly what you mean by it! So many times back in september when i was struggling to start the first round, i was thinking that everytime i tried to start off.. it really sometimes feels like do or die! So with such a positive, encouraging title to your diary i know youll do super well! :D

Glad you cancelled everything between now and August eating wise, it really is the best thing to do, ive cleared my social calander until May !!

You can do this you know, youve done it before, and as this is a new year you will of course get to goal no problem! best of luck and keep busy :) ....xx
