PS: I'm on a high

(oops, clicked send too soon)
Yeah I was saying I'm on a high today and it's only Day 1! It's just that I KNOW that LT TFR works so well. I've struggled using conventional diets after indulging my sweet tooth repeatedly (chocs, biscuits, cakes -you know how it goes...). My size 12s gradually became too tight, I switched to 14s and now even my 14s are too tight and I'm wearing some 16s.... My exercising faded into zero. For a few weeks I was supergood and lost up to 1.5kg but that did not last. Anyway I'm back with a bang! This time, in addition to wanting to be the right dress size, a healthy BMI is important, so is fitness, and my body fat%. Even deeper, I want to honour God by looking after my body, not just my mind and spirit, and this time I'm putting this part of my life in His hands too. Yay!

Aaah (relief!) just had my hot chic shake! Was getting the kids' dinner and feeling irritable, starting to snap... The chicken looked so good and I even thought "a small piece won't hurt as I'm still on day 1..." but, thank God, I rushed away from the chicken to make up my choc shake. Feeling a little dizzy/ tired but overall good day because I can say I've been 100%; bring on day 2!

Wow, I know what hunger feels like now! Never mind, done day 3 and will keep going; can't wait for 1st WI!

Oh, just wanted to add, this time round -to my surprise- I'm liking the strawberry shakes! Will try regime of hot chocs morn & evening, and lunch cold strawb shake and see how it goes...
Push those scales down people!!

Day 4, doing ok just wanna get to 1st weigh in !

Day 5, been tired today, managed to do some tidying, felt very tired and had a long soak in the bathtub. Slight headache. My husband confirmed (only when I asked!) that I have a yuck breath. Well I'm happy with that if it signals ketosis!
Off to brush my teeth.....!

Day 6 done; felt more comfortable today, more energy but ccoolldd! Anyway relieved I've just 1 more day to WI! How are my fellow trimmers getting on?

You're doing great! I absolutely love your attitude! Keep it up!

I'm starting again tomorrow after so many failed restarts so wish me luck! I'm so excited to get started and get rid of this 5 stone hanging off me!

The first week truly is the hardest, you've hung on in there and I'm sure you'll be rewarded at weigh in! Let us know how you get on, have you sneaked a peek at the scales yet?

Hi Imaycook! You can def do this and the forum is a great place for support. This really is one of the main supports for me. Well done for starting; stay strong!

Hi Lolapink, you bet this week has been a bit tough! Evenings mostly, around dinner times -oh the tantalising smells! A few times I've thought hmm I'll just have a little bite...it won't matter...Then I think NO I WON'T, don't want to go through the whole trying to get into ketosis thing again! Also I told my colleagues at work so they all know what I'm up to, don't want to come all shamefaced before them and have to say I couldn't do it! I can picture their oohs and ahs a few weeks down the line!
To answer your question, yep, I have been weighing myself - a few pounds down def but will give the verdict at tomorrow's WI. Clothes feel loser already; yay!
How are you getting on?

Day 7, feels so good that I stuck through the whole of week 1. A bit constipated and think I'll ask for that fibreclear at the pharmacist's.
Don't know whether I can make it to the pharmacist tomorrow for my WI (work is a bit of a distance away). If I can't, I'll try in the next few days; got some spare shoes to tide me over.
Oh yawn, yawn, gotta go now, feeling sleepy. Na night, God bless.

I'm not so bad today thanks, weigh in days are always exciting, or at least I hope they always will be! Hope you can make it tomorrow and get great results.

Hi there, haven't been able to get to the pharmacist but weighed in on my home scales yesterday for 1st WI: 3kg down (6.6lb loss)! Delighted!!
