Hi all! Now that am officially 1 stone lighter I have found that most of my cloths don't fit anymore especially my size 18 jeans. They are saggy @ d waist and bum and thigh. Am so scared to get rid of all these cloths because am so scared I will need them again. Stl have a few new ones and they just don't fit. Do you think I should take the plunge to get rid of them or not pls or what shld I do? The painful part is that I bought 3new MAC in preparation for this season. They are shapeless now and it saddens me. :( my work shirts are now baggy and make my neck really look long.

hi there temmytango,
after nearly 3 stones loss, i got rid of all my size 20-22 clothes yesterday, some in the bin and some to charity shops.
am still wearing my size 18 clothes even though i can fit in size 16 now, just because i can wear them all even though they are very loose. and am saving up to get some new clothes once i lose another 1-1.5 stones.
i had to get rid of them coz i never ever want to wear big clothes again and if i kept them, i will always remind me that one day i might get that big again.
i have only one pair of size 22 jeans that i have saved to tell myself that i will never ever wear clothes so big ever ever again.
xx

Hey

I think because I am not exactly flush I would probably wait and keep my 18 stuff until I could just get into 14's the chuck the 18 stuff and wear 16/14 clothes IYSWIM.

I agree with this I am keeping a pair of the biggest trousers I have been in so I can say I never want to be this big again :D we will make it lol

Tnks 4 dat reply. U have had amazing loses. Have u been exercising. If yes what type of exercise anmd how often. I wish I could shift @ least 5 pounds every week. Pls let me know. Tnx

Gosh. Its so scary to let go of all those cloths. But I guess I have to. My house will be very empty cos I bought loads of cloths becauser when u ar fat nothing fits so u end up buying loads

My mum had every size going I woundnt say she save money because she just goes out an treats her self she hasn't got enough space to see every item so she has prob got three or ten of every thing from a size 12 to 32 no joke either my advice when it comes to ya wardrobe is be positive what you can wear with belt or get it taken in keep what looks silly throw away your just hanging on to the old comfortable you gok wan idea is we only need 40 item and that's every thing from underwear to belts and dresses shoe etc I think he's a little extreme but yesterday I got rid of 4 bags of old clothes that I really did not have space for and now got a what fits me wardrobe and a winter suit case also have a what doesn't fit me meaning small tight clothes setting my self a target of in 4 weeks time I will throw every thing in my current wardrobe that looks silly then get out the too small suit case until my suit case is empty then I'll consider at the end of goal what I actually Like and what I don't Out with the old in with the new you!! Xxx good luck

hi temmytango,
i dont exercise as such but last week i started with power walking for 1hr, 4 times a week and i do 15 mins of step up in house. maybe thats what sped my weight loss this week. i know its not goin to be such high losses every week but i normally aim for 3 lbs loss weekly and everything over that is a bonus.
hope it helps.
xx

Hubby bought me a singer sewing machine this morning. He said it will be cheaper than buying a whole new wardrobe especially my shirts which is my wardrobe staple. I guess he is right

Ooh how exciting! I would love to be able to alter stuff properly or make my own A-line skirts etc! I can never find what I want in the shops! Happy sewing! X

Hi bye bigun you won't believe I just opened the box this mrn and its so different from the singer machine my mum owned. I used to make clothes with my mums but I don't even know where to start with this new one. Its all plast ic and vey modern. I wl need a whole day to set it up. Arrrrrgggh

Well its keeping u busy :) got me thinking about it I have to say! Considering something myself but worried I won't know where to start or the stitching will coke undone when stood at the Tesco checkout n leave me stood there in my undies! Lol x
