Thanks Jane .. Well it's case his job and another are being joined so he has to apply for the new one .. 2 into 1 doesn't go so we will have to wait and see! They went around culling today about 30/40 people have been made redundant .. Very scary whole teams from what I hear. We work for the same company! It's funny thought cause my team was move to an external building 6 months ago and we had all resigned out selves to be let go by Xmas .. But now the word is June .. Everyone else in the building thought they might be ok .. You never know do you.

    So day 3 (22 I suppose)

Been crazy busy so far this week with jury duty and month end at work haven't had a moment .. Good in some ways but in others it's been making me crave s nice dinner with a glass of vino to chill .. Had my minty hit choc tonight as a substitute and the urge seems to have passed!

Was just about asleep 10 mins ago when my fuzzy little Persian cat decided it was bed time and climbed in with a soaking chin (soaked my forehead) to give me a good night head bump and big loud purr lol! Crazy cat!

    Hi Becky,

My hubby's on "rolling" redundancy notice at the minute. Every time it gets to the day before he should finish, they call him up and give him another 6 weeks. I'm sure it's illegal way of doing it as he's entitled to 90 days notice. But have to keep mouth shut and just be thankful he's working!

Anyway, what I meant to say is, having the threat of redundancy hanging over you is very stressful and could easliy tip you over inot eating. But just think how much more awful (I'm. not sure that's correct grammar but ) you'd feel if you also blew your diet.

Keep on Becky, you're doing so well!

    Thanks Dusty,

Good to know we are not alone .. Have to say he would nearly be happier if they let him go cause the new role would be hell .. But you have to play the game and wait and see what the powers that be want. And to be honest he isn't happy there any more and the mortgage is insured and he would get a good redundancy package .. So we can get by.

That's awful then messing your hubby around .. But they have everyone by the "feel look to have a job" quote no matter how awful they treat you! People just have to stick it out. Ahh

    Day 4. (23)

My work day was grand I was downing the water and I'm even finding my system is getting used to it as I'm not dashing to the loo as often! Had my vanilla shake with coffee for 11'z and then my flapjack at 3 with a huge mug of black tea .. Was super busy didn't get to take brekki or lunch!

We went to visit my parents for my dads bday (60 gee lol) this evening had a lovely chat and my hubby and them had some cake/tarts and a cupa .. Was not in least upset had a lovely bottle of fancy sparkling water while I was there .. Got home though at 10 and started to throw together a quick lunch for my hubby tomorrow ... I freaked out when I opened a packet of ham to make a quick sandwich on lovely fresh baker brown bread the smell ... Oh god I was so close to eating a slice .. I have not had that urge at all before on this .. And ham I wouldnt usually thank you for! Weird .. So I've hightailed it straight to bed

Night all! Hope ye all have a nice Friday!

Sounds like you're doing really well Becky. Avoiding birthday cake is an admirable achievement.

Have you finished jury service now? Two of my staff have been called to give evidence in a court case soon. They are bit scared to be honest.

I was having a miserable day yesterday and today .. So walking past the chemist today I popped in to discuss refeed as an option .. So i weighed in while there and I was down 3 lbs more!! Delighted thats 1st 7lbs in 25 days .. But I've pretty much decided now to refeed on Tuesday ..

Just ready to move on to a healthy eating plan to lose a further 2stone. Think I've settled on refeeding for a week and 2 days .. And then heading to slimming world!

I'll still be about here for the next 2weeks approx to keep up with how the refeed/transition is going!

Everyone on here has been fab .. The support has been amazing ..

Happy to say it wasn't the direct not eating thing making me miserable more the constant cold .. And as my hubby pointed out my bad mood! He has been very supportive and was getting worried! But now I have the weight off about deciding I am happy!

I am a wee bit sad and ashamed I didn't close out to valentines day like a had promised myself! But I have now swore to myself I will never get back to this weight again! And promised to my hubby to stop all this yoyo dieting and make final life changes!

Don't feel sad Becky. You've had some really good weeks and weight loses and you've learned that you can be around food and not have to eat it. You've also learned that just because you feel hungry you don't have to eat.

So, I'm sure you'll do great on refeed and then your next part of the journey!
Good luck and don't be a stranger

Ok so I did a few days of the refeed correctly and then me and the hubby went away for a couple of nights to relax as it looks like he has decided to not apply of any role after his job and another were joined do effectually he's redundant! We are not stressed TG we have mor loans etc covered but still decided it would be nice to get away! Long story short I ate and drank to my (now slight smaller since LT) butts content!

Weight myself on Sunday and I am up 2lbs which I will gladly take after 5days of stuffing myself .. So I'm going to do 4 days on LT before join slimming world on Thursday just to break the boldness and start as I mean to with my body emptied of bad junk, sugar n fat .. So I'll be honking till then yay!

1st shake of the day done .. I'm actually happy to not be eating!
