    hi my name is gemma on the advice of a friend i've started a new thread and given up the 'shame of being me' thread.
    starting weight 18 stone 4lbs, start of diet saturday 7th jan 2012 and today i WILL be 100%
    1)i will stop with the excuses
    2)i will do one day 100%
    3)i will last a month
    4)i will lose weight
    5)i will fit back into my going out clothes,
    6)i will start going out again
    7)i will prove to everyone that i can do this
    8)i will post photos on this forum showing me in an OUTRAGEOUS outfit SLIM
    GOAL
    1) do one day100% [19] (3L water per day)
    2) let me finish one week 100% [18]
    3) lose one stone
    4) lose my 'tummy shelf'
    5) 6th July beach hol!!! [17]
    6) 3rd August meeting EX-BOYFRIEND!!!! [15.5]
    7) 13th Sept wedding [14]

    back at the gym today, got weighed and measured i'm 2stone heavier than in May and my trainer just asked me what weight i wanna be by 30 as that will alter what kinda life i will lead!i'll be 27 in March and to be honest that shook me and i had to walk around town with my Mam and i'm so big i actually react physically with i caught sight of myself in the mirror! oh well i'm on the right road now please God x

    today- gym 7:45 done! whoop whoop hate dragging myself out of bed in the morning but i find morning gym easier as its so busy i just knuckle down and get on with it and at least then its over for the day as before i'd spend all day dreading it or thinking up excuses not to go!
    i've a Christening on the 28th and its a BIG EVENT as my cuz is flying back from Oz to have the baby Christened as his Dad c ant fly and missed his Wedding last year, well nothing fits me i've dresses from size 14,16,18 and 20 and none fit and i am NOT buying a 22 as thats how i become so big i was always a 14 then for home wear i decided to buy 16's to be extra comfy that turn in to 18's then 20's and now i'm a large 20, meaning if i wear a 20 pants with elastic i can only wear it for a while as it hurts!so heres hoping day will be my first 100% x

    WELL DONE YOU!! Getting out of bed and into the gym is such a great acheivement! Seems like you're staying strong. Keep it up, you can change your liife before you're 30. I wish I'd taken myself in hand then.
