    Teapots Challenge

    Today and tomorrow are going to be tough. We own our own business so are off to Coventry for a meeting this afternoon followed by a cocktail party this evening in Birmingham then onwards to Oxford to stay the night. My other half is lecturing at QM uni in London tomorrow afternoon so we have trains and tube to negotiate and it will be a long day. Awful lot of willpower and calmness required. I can do it... I can do it... I can do it...

    I can't believe it, have managed to stay 100% yesterday and today - and actually it's been ok. At the cocktail party lastnight I drank sparkling water and deftly avoided the fantastic looking (and tasting apparently) canapés. Staying with some friends in Oxford and came clean about LT, so have not felt any pressure to do anything else but stay on track. Back home tomorrow with the FSB luncheon to look forward to on Sunday. I'm a little relieved and quite proud of myself

Didn’t do refeed, went on and off the wagon for 6 weeks after getting to goal and lost the plot a little. Than fell pregnant at 10 st 7lbs so could not continue with lipotrim. Was just under 12 stone at full term pregnancy. After I had my baby goose the weight just piled on. Back on it for round 2 and this time I WILL MAINTAIN

    I have good news to report! Stayed 100% today and watched everyone at the FSB luncheon eat 3 courses of wonderful looking food. I explained to all on the table who were a little shocked I wasn't eating, but were completely supportive and ultimately very impressed that I hadn't eaten anything! I had loads of 'good lucks' etc at the end. So chuffed because this was the one I was most nervous about. Woohoo

    awww well done again! I've had my fair share of watching people eat, it can be ok sometimes and hard others. People do tend to be in awe at what we are ding! it's not a diet for the faint hearted!! I got in to my size 10 skinnys today so it's gotta be worth it!!

    on a funny note - my hubby is sitting on the sofa saying 'what are you doing' and I said you know what I'm doing so wy d u keep asking me, he knows i spend alot of time on this forum and could never have done this without the support from here and he keeps winding me up saying are you one of those annoying people on forums whos always leaving msgs!!!! proper winding me up! lol! just told him to eff off and than we both burst out laffin! But this forum is awesome!!

    Thank you Goose and OMG how exciting - Size 10 skinnys, wow!!!!!! Both my younger sisters have been 10's in the past but I've never been close. I think your hubby deserves a very big gold star, they do have to put up with us while we battle on, I bet he is hugely impressed with you. My other half is much more supportive this time which I'm so grateful for. I did this a couple of years ago and he found it quite frustrating and kept suggesting I eat something lol. Weigh day tomorrow so I'm hoping it's going to be a good one

    yup bless him he has tried to sabatoage my efforts previously (un intentionally) but he has been so proud of me and has supported me as much as he can. He's just bought a takaway OMG smells so lush but I am sitting with my back towards him as I can't bear to look it, pretty much been 100% throughout and the only time ive eaten is when ive HAD to - usually invites to the inlaws who dont know im on this and get hugely offended if i dont go as we dont really get along anyway. and if i dont go they slag me off to the hubby like no mans business. but no cheats or breaks where ive succumbed to food if that makes sense?

    it makes such a huge difference when they support you though, he did another VLCD for just shy of 2 weeks not long ago where he could actually have a protien and veg meal as well and he found it SOOO hard, he lost a fair bit in the 10 days even with a few cheats and then dramatically gave up all of a sudden, had pizza and then didnt bother with refeed or anything and just startd eating normally, suprisingly only put on about a piund or 2 from the 10 he lost! but anyway since he did tht VLCD which was 'easier' than mine he says he has sooooo much admiration for what i have done, he says he does not know how i have done it as he ws having a meal too and he found it too hard to cope with.

    So pleased this week! I've lost 2.4kg which equates to 5.2lbs. This is my biggest loss since week one, in a week that I was dreading due to various social engagements. I survived them all and stayed 100% and intend to keep it going. This forum rocks!

    Well done. When you tell people about this diet you get either one or two reactions. 1. I could do that what you moaning about. Or 2. I could never do that surely that's not healthy why not stick to a regular healthy diet & exercise. My reply We would not be doing it if the other options worked and yes you need to be a little crazy to do this diet. It's called willpower and sheer determination to lose weight. Otherwise we would not put ourselves through this torture. At least it is in the first few days until it gets easier but you get a few off days in the middle to.

    I'm so green with envy 5lbs is great. I'm back on week 1 after being on holiday but before I was losing 2-3 lbs a week. I'm hoping to get results like yours if I drink more water.

    Thank you Sam! You're right about the reactions you get and the reasons why we do it. I'm hoping that you're going to have a fab week1 - it's the one you just have to get out the way, but usually has a great reward at the end of it. When is your weigh day? I'm fortunate that I have always been a big drinker - of water that is. I'm also a big tea drinker so these days I tend to have a cuppa followed by a glass of water, which makes me want another cuppa etc lol

    Off to Manchester again today to talk about crowdfunding and the broken finance escalator.
