Hii folks :D

First day starting the LT for me, had my consultation yesterday and I was freaked out to find I weight 17.5st! The last time I checked I was 16 but it's ok, it has motivated me even more!

Woke up and just had a black tea with sweetener, and I know the next few days are going to be tough! I have seen some transformation pics and a few stories on here and they are fantastic, so just wanted to put up my own first post (I bet everyone must get so used to newbs like me!)

Anyway as a total noob I have no clue about what the signatures mean, but i'm assuming that is like a little footnote of how much weight everyone is losing?

Hi I've also starting today I have nearly 4 stone to loose and hopefully Won't take took long I started the day with green tea and just had my first shake I've done the diet before but put the weight on during pregnancy soo motivated now to get it off.

The signature is just a blank box for you to put whatever you like in, that will be at the bottom of each post. Lots of people put in their weekly weight losses and mini goals to keep them motivated :)

The first few days are really hard but once you're in ketosis you'll feel tonnes better!

This is my 1st day as well, I have just lost 12lbs with Xenical since 15/4/13. Had my 1st shake earlier this morning Vanilla flavour, wsnt too bad. The worst for me is my Diet Coke addiction and I mean addiction at least 30 cans a day so this is going to be a challenge in more ways than one.

I am starting at 11st 11lbs my 1st weigh in is Monday so once I have the weigh in I will know if it is worth it not to mention the cost £45 a week

Aww to the two new starters, I wish you all the best and indeed we can stick together and let each other know how it's going! I just had my first shake too (chocolate), it actually tastes quite nice as I used to have maximuscle protein shake which was easy to swallow... i've had worse protein shakes in my life so this should be ok. I think the first weak shock is something i'm hypervigilent about now that I am on complete look out for it lol bring it on! haha

Thanks Kayroo for the info. regarding the siggy, yeah I think i'm going to save it as an empty space and add a fullstop overtime I feel like i'm having a mental breakdown... by the end of the week all you may see is .................................................................. ;) hehe thanks for the support and well done everyone!!
 
Just a few tips tou have probably already heard but it might help, firstly keep yourself really busy the next few days and get lots of early nights, there's nothing worse than sitting there at night wanting to pick when you know you can't! Also drink as much water as you can as it really helps you stay full and lose more weight, don't skip shakes either, you need all 3 shakes or you will feel weak and get hungry, the first few days are the worse then the rest will fly by and you'll be buying new clothes every couple of weeks. Good luck everyone, ill be back for my final round in 3 weeks after my holiday!
 
Thank you Emmy, lol too bad I have uni assignments in for this week so that's exactly what I will sadly having to be doing... late night work but the water has massively helped and having that last shake really hit the hunger spot. Everytime I feel hungry I just remember how the pharmacist made jokes about the human body and how desperate it is for food... i've kind of disassociated myself from my body and seen it as this weak, vulnerable little thing that is full of anxiety to get it's next meal - and for some reason I now feel as if i'm outside my body telling it to "calm down, you're not going to die... it will be ok" lol oh and before anyone thinks about white jackets, I work in the NHS mental health services so don't worry, i'm not losing it :p

Emmy you have a fantastic holiday and do pop back in 3 weeks to check up on us and vice versa! Really appreciate the useful words of wisdom :D
 
Glad to see their is a few newbie about. I am going to the chemist tomorrow to sign myself up and bricking it.
I pick so much at work but am never hungry its just because it is there, I need to learn to say no!
 
Just into bed day 1 and realised I've only had 2 shakes I don't feel hungry have had 3 litres of water and few cups of green tea. I couldn't take a shake now I kept busy with house work today and my 3 very young boys always keep me busy. It's funny how I always found time to eat and house was a mess now house is clean and hopefully am getting slimmer.
 
Hey first timer, well done on completing your first day! Today is also day 2 for me and I woke up feeling fine, I just want the 'tough' period to come I know it's due tomorrow or the day after approximately lol... it's amazing how many times my brain told me "go for a snack" in the late evening, and how I started noticing my patterns of wanting to binge, it's madness! Anyway i'm sure this diet will be worth it!

So did you not feel hungry at all to have the 3rd shake? I suppose each to their own but one thing i've seem to heard over and over again is to stick to the routine in a strict manner as missing one shake will mean you are not getting all the nutrition, and that may have a further impact on weightloss as you are on such a low calorie based diet that you really need all you can get. Bad habits early on could jepardise the diet but probably best to speak to the pharmacist just to clarify it but well done anyway!

Wedding dream, don't worry we are with you and you can log in anytime for support i'm checking this forum frantically at the moment lol oh and the saying no thing gets easier with practice, lol infact the more you do it you eventually find it quite fun and liberating (I know this coming from a psychology background teaching people to be more assertive), I have some big events coming up and I come from a very traditional family so saying no to them is something that is unheard of, especially to the older generation but i'm going to just word it nicely and stick to my guns!

Im on day 12,lost 7lbs so far and weigh in 2moro,im s######g it!
This weekhas been SOOOOO hard ive been feeling weak and emosh and i just needed some energy, i had 1 chewy mint sweet and that made me feel much better BUT please dont do it if you do crave food because you start to pick after that,well...thats what i did....
So im saying to myself if ive lost weight fair play but if ive put on its my own fault and i will get through it.
Drink plenty of water and what i do is have a black coffee with a TABLET sweetener NOT powdered sweetner!
Anyway have a cracking week i will stop talking now and i will post how much ive put on 2moro I MEAN LOST 2moro haha ;)
 
Hey LeTaylor :) of course we can be lipoFriends! oh and well done for dropping the 7lbs, must feel so good! When I was like 16 i used to go gym 4 times a week and absolutely smash it for hours each time, and at the end of the week losing 3lbs was amazing so that is certainly a huge benefit! Ahh it feels like you are in the future as you are already on day 12 so you have gone through so much already, I think we can certainly take some words of wisdom from you too! lol all the best to you and deffo keep in touch regularly, oh and *slaps hand* no mints! :p ;)

Day 2 and only a slight headache :D My daughter had cornflakes this morning and I kept looking at the bowl when she left and saying go on have just one cornflake lol but I resisted (well proud of myself) Work is hard I work in an Office in a Hospital and the other girls are having their lunch and some of the smells make me want to waiver, was going to go for a lunchtime walk instead but rain was too heavy, and as one workmate commented the area around the hospital is packed with eating places and she said that might make me worse :rolleyes:
 
I lost 3lbs im soo happy with that considering.
Thats 10lbs in 2weeks WHOOP WHOOP :D:D:D

Im well chuffed.
I get weighed every 2 weeks now cus i said 2 the lady that my work get funny when i need 2 leave early so im off every other thursday so that works well :thumbup:
 
Thats day 3 over. Been hard as I was in Bingo and everyone was munching at food lol how long til the starvin marvin phase passes :)
 
Woohoo! Well done Debbie, yup it's day 4 for us... have you had the blues yet? I am still waiting for it :S lol
 
Day 4-5 was when I started to feel better, but Bubz you seem to have missed that one! Fingers crossed you don't get it at all! Day 13 for me, WI is tomorrow YAY! x
