New Journey!

Hi all

I finally managed to get hold of some Lipotrim and today is my first day. I decided I'd try keeping a little diary here of how I get on because I think it might help me avoid falling off the program.

A little about me...I'm a 23 year old male, recently graduated and moved a month ago to start a new job. I've had problems with my weight my whole life...I've never been or felt slim and it's a dream I've been chasing since I can remember. It really feels as though my weight is holding back my life...I'm always hiding, wearing jackets even when it's way too hot, sitting forward in my chair so my shirt doesn't rest on my stomach, sitting with my arms covering me, trying to pull my top away from my body when I think no one is looking etc. I'm sure I'm not alone with these. One of the main things I'm looking forward to at the end of this program is going swimming...I really love swimming and I can't even remember the last time I went. It must be about 10 years ago.

Since I've pretty much been in education my whole life so far, I haven't had that much of a problem socialising or making friends since I've always been surrounded with people my own age with similar interests. I didn't go out too much because I never felt comfortable, but I still had friends. When I moved a month ago for my job, I moved to a new city where I don't know a single person and my confidence is lower than ever. When I come home from work, I don't know anyone, and I'm not comfortable enough to actually go out and meet people...especially since anywhere I go I'd be going alone.

Enough is enough. I'm done wasting what should be the best years of my life because of my weight and I really think Lipotrim is going to get me there. I figured since these shakes are the only thing I'm going to be consuming for a while I could splash out on a few goodies to improve the experience :D

I got a brita water filter and the Kenwood Smoothie2Go. The smoothie maker is great, you just fill the cup with water (great tasting cold water from the brita filter :p , throw in the powder and put the cup on the base. Turn it on for about 20 seconds, remove the cup and drink straight from it. I had my first shake about an hour ago and it was really frothy and it actually wasn't too bad. I wanted all chocolate but they didn't have enough in stock so I have some chocolate and more vanilla. I had the vanilla one earlier and although it wasn't disgusting I think I'll really prefer the chocolate which I'll have later. The male servings are huge...it feels like you're drinking it forever and it just doesn't get any less lol.

My goal is to lose 3-4 stone using Lipotrim and I'm 100% determined to do it! I have felt some hunger today but it's a love/hate thing...as much as I dislike the feeling, I love knowing that every minute of feeling hunger is one minute closer to ketosis. I'm so ready for this :happy036:

Firstly Congratulations on your new job and new place, and a big well done for starting lipotrim, I lost 4 stone earlier this year in 3 months so it really really does work, you seem really determined and have the right attitude so I defiantly think you can do this. Each week you lose weight your confidence will grow - its such a boost when the clothes are falling off you.
Keep coming on here for support and keep drinking your water and you'll be at your goal before you know it! Good luck :)

Ps, I love your picture it sums the diet up so well that's all you are going to need, no messing about cutting up salad and washing every thing up

Thanks :D

Day 2, got home from work recently...I see what you guys mean about hunger now. I've literally spent all day fantasising about food lol, and the people at work were trying to get me to break by waving their food in my face, assholes :p Came home at lunch for my first shake and my colleague was with me, it makes such a difference drinking the shake while you're distracted. I was just chatting and drinking away and before I knew it the cup was empty and I actually wanted there to be more.

I'm forgetting my goal of 3-4 stone for now, my focus is just to last the next few days until I enter ketosis. Thinking about only having 1-4 days left to go is much better than 2-3 months :D I drank so much water today and it wasn't even intentional, I just found myself always at the water dispenser filling up my cup. I think it's because we have pistachio nuts around the desks and we just eat them when we're bored or want something to do with our hands, and since I couldn't do that, fiddling with the plastic cup was sort of a replacement.

Oh and well done for losing 4 stone Emma, I just have to try and do as well as you did!

Day 3, god I've been so hungry today. Woke up this morning and wasn't too bad for the first couple of hours but suddenly I just got starving and I've been like it since. My stomach was rumbling a lot during my meetings at work, it was a little embarrassing since it was pretty loud. I can have my second shake in 40 minutes, hopefully that will ease the hunger for the rest of the night. If not I guess I'll just have to deal with it :)

Day 4, wasn't anywhere near as hungry as I was yesterday. Don't get me wrong I could eat a month's worth of food right now if it was in front of me, but it was still a lot better than yesterday. I've been really cold today, feeling quite weak and a little ill...the type of ill where you want to lie on the sofa under a blanket with some hot soup. Going to take it easy tonight :)

Well done on getting to day 4...I'm on day 3. Sounds like you have ketosis flu...you feel like that when your body makes the transition over to fat burn apparently so tomorrow you should feel even better!

Oh that's awesome...I haven't even read about that before. Definitely makes me feel better about feeling ill :p Well done btw for not caving last night and sticking it out!

Reading your stats your not that much overweight for your height so you shouldn't be on lipo to long. Glad your getting into ketosis keep up the good work

Thanks :) I'm looking to lose around 3 stone (I originally thought 3-4 but I was wearing heavy clothes when I got weighed at the pharmacy). The pharmacist said I'll probably need to be on Lipo for around 2.5 - 3 months. My BMI when I got weighed was just in the obesity area, 3 stone loss should put me in the normal weight category which would be great. I may want to go a little further since it'll be on the higher end of the normal weight group but one step at a time!

Your stats look great, you've actually done pretty much exactly what it is I'm trying to achieve (very similar weights, ~14st to ~11st). Hopefully I can do as good as that :)

from what i remember men seem to lose it faster than women as well (though thinking about it i can remember one lady who was losing 7lbs plus each week so forget that lol) so wont be long before you see results :) good luck to you im sure you will do great

How's it going sida?

How's it going sida?

Okay so it was going fine, but a load of my mates planned a pretty unannounced holiday that honestly wasn't worth missing for the short time I'd been on Lipotrim. I instead switched to doing p90x (a workout program) because the effects of a holiday would be be a lot less than on Lipotrim. It's been going well and I've been eating healthy and working out 5 times per week so I didn't bother to continue the Lipotrim.

Truth is now I'm getting sick of the lack of time. By the time I've been to work, sorted my meals, done my workout etc I just feel like I have no free time so I've decided I'm going to stop p90x and get back on Lipotrim. I also saw a guy from work who continued Lipotrim when I switched to p90x and he's lost loads of weight in comparison to me, although granted I've got in better shape because of the program but it still feels like his results are more effective. I don't have anything planned between now and Christmas so I guess it should be ok this time.

Best of luck with getting back on LT Sida, you know what to expect in the first couple of days now so that should help. You said you didn't know about ketosis in one of your earlier posts? If you go onto the LT website there's a 30 min film which explains that and everything else, good luck :)

Welcome Sida and best of luck on your LT journey! :)

Oh I'm excited for you! Well done on getting back to it after your break.... And stand firm through the mental struggle you may encounter as a 're-starter'. The steps to follow are so easy and no other safe weight loss programme offers a loss of 1 stone a month. You can do this and be done by the end of January! I echo Lindo: how I wish I cracked this in my 20s instead of at 38.... But I'm steaming through and you can too :)

Welcome back xx

Thank you ^^ To be honest, I met this amazing girl and she takes care of her body and I kinda feel like I don't deserve her unless I do the same. It's not about whether I want crisps or a good body now, it's about whether I want crisps or her...makes resisting a lot easier :) I totally forgot to have my other shake this evening though, hope that's not going to be a problem. Also today I had a strange feeling in my throat all day, almost like something thick was trapped there but not quite high enough to come out, indigestion or something? Has anyone had this and know anything to help with it?

Loved reading your first post Sida, great mentality to get on the LT wagon.

Can't help with your indigestion type issue, maybe someone else will have experienced it and be able to help. Best of luck with it :)
