Day 1

Happy New Year everyone from a Newbie. I started Lipotrim for the first time today with a starting weight of 18st 3lb with a goal of getting down to around 13 st. So far so good, the shakes are a bit bland but seem to be very filling. I picked up a smoothie maker which mixes them nicely, I just might struggle drinking the amount of water required. Today's been a bit of a lost day TBH as the hangover from last nights shenanigans has been lingering all day.

Happy New Year Steve.

All the best on LT and keep us updated :) The water intake does get easier once you get used to it. It's just a bit of a shock for the first few days

Day 3

Hanging on in there and am pleasantly surprised that I'm finding it a tad easier than I thought.

Yesterday I struggled to get the water down my neck but today it's been going down a dream. I find that carbonated water helps over plain still.

Busy weekend at work so at least that'll keep me occupied until Mondays weigh in

Hi Steve....hi guys! I started lipotrim on the first of Jan too.....just finished day 3! Its great to have somebody start on the same day :) Its been hard but not as hard as i thought...I get real waves of hunger or frustration when i just want to eat and then it passes...i also get waves of feeling proud and already feel slimmer and think about my holiday coming up in May that keeps me going....hopefully it gets easier now...i've heard it does! Good luck! :)

[STRIKE]Had my first weigh in today and have lost 13lbs so very happy. I understand that most of this is water but its a good start seeing as i've only been on Lipotrim a total of 5 days. My weigh ins from now on will be each Monday - [/STRIKE]

Edit that, it'll be Wednesday's from now on and today i weighed in at 17st 2lb so have lost 15lbs in 7 days on Lipotrim

I'm not feeling hungry and the water is going down a treat now. I did have diarrhea yesterday and this morning which really took it out of me. I found that the Fibre clear helped though so i might start taking that daily as a preventive measure. Thankfully the headaches i had in the first couple of days have disappeared. I'm also not in full Ketosis so that probably explains why i no longer have hunger pangs.

The smoothie maker we picked up for £20 has been a godsend as we are mixing the shakes with ice to make yummie smoothies.

It really helps that my other half "Zoobabe79" on here is doing it too. She's doing really well too and we've both set goals and treats for each other when we hit milestones.

I hope everyone else who started in the new year are staying strong.

Last night i went and donated my usual triple donation of Platelets which i do fortnightly. I was a bit worried that i'd feel dizzy as when i donate without eating it normally has this effect but all went without a hitch and my Iron Levels were fine.
I was also worried that the anticoagulant which is pumped back into me would mess with Ketosis but i've just done a test and i'm still in it.

Today i did feel hungrier but i think that was because i didn't drink as much water at work as i usually do. I'll try to up my intake now that i'm home

Day 11 nearly done.

Today and yesterday have been right pigs. I've still managed to stick to it 100% but it's hard work.

I've really struggled cooking food for my kids who are over this weekend. Is so easy to pop a bit of cheese in your mouth whilst preparing, or to go to taste something as it cooks.

I'm hoping that my next weigh in will get me back on track mentally.

I hope all the new year starters are hanging on in there.

2nd week weigh in today and now down to 16st 10lb so have managed to drop 1.5 stones in 21 days

I'm feeling a lot more positive about this diet now and feel its defiantly something i can keep to 100% until i reach my goal. The added bonus that inches are dropping off from all over my body is also an incentive builder. Clothes that once were tight now fit nicely and people are starting to comment that they can see a physical difference.

I'm starting to think of a long term plan which will involve stopping all alcohol at home, cutting down on bread and cutting carbs, all of which have been my downfall for years. Onwards and upwards :D

3rd week weigh in today and now down to 16 stones 4lb so managed to lose another 6lbs this week.

I've now settled in quiet well on Lipotrim and my better half is pound for pound losing about the same as me so is doing amazing as well. Another session of Platelets yesterday which took it out of me a bit but at least i didn't feel faint.

Hi Steve,

Great work. It sounds like the weight is dropping off you.

Keep up the good work

Thanks a million - it's mad how quickly you get used to eating nothing. I'm not sure it's the most healthy way to lose weight but if it works what the hell :)

for me its all about the feel good factor and how positive I feel losing the weight, once I get to my goal weight I am going to go to a dietician and get advice, rather than come of LT and put the weight back on.

Wow ... you're doing fantastic ... you must be feeling a million times better already!

Thanks again - Was severely constipated today after struggling with diorria previously.

I picked up some Fibreclear today so will add a spoonful to each shake which should give some relief from both. Losing over a pint of Platelets with each donation probably doesn't help. I'll see if I can up my fluid intake next time I give for a few days after.

Another week over and another 6lbs off which takes me down to 15st 12lbs with a total weight loss of 2st 5lbs in 4 weeks :D

I can't say im not sick and tired of it now though but will battle on regardless. This weekend is going to be a nightmare and i'm off to Amsterdam for 4 days with a group of friends. I'm determined to stick to it though as the long term benefits are worth it.

well done steve! WOW you've done amazingly well, you must be chuffed :) have fun in Amsterdam, don't give in to temptation ;)

Fantastic progress ... well done, and like Abbz says, have fun and don't give in to temptation(s)!!

Great work Steve, keep up the good work.

I went away with my mates to The Dam the last time I did LT and managed to not break the plan. Not all of my mates knew I was on LT and to be honest I didn't want to tell them as they would all throw there two cents in and give there opinions, a couple of the lads did know I was doing LT and I used one of them as my buddy for the weekend. When I had the urge to have a beer or eat he would remind me of what I am doing and how far I came on my journey.

I did have a few joints and magic truffles and managed to have a great trip and stay in ketosis. (I hope I don't get banned for mentioning this)

Whatever you choose to do have some fun and if you do have a blip on the plan just think I will start again on Monday, after all we are only human.
