    Smile Lipotrim diary

    Hi , I'm on day 4 of lipotrim , and I'm determined to do this for at least 3 weeks.
    i got a fright when I was weighed on Thursday , weighing in at 12st 6lbs and I'm hoping to get to 10stone by the summer.
    this will be my third time on lipotrim , the first time I lost over 3stone and kept it off for a year and now I'm back on the wagon hoping that my will power lasts ! I'd love to hear some success stories or if anyone is at a similar stage to me... I need moral support

    Hi Kel75, welcome back to Lipotrim. Day 5 turned it around for me too, was so glad that I wasn't feeling so hungry all the time . I'm a first timer for Lipotrim and have just completed my first week. It wasn't as hard as I thought, although Sat night was def tough as that's normally my takeaway night lol. Have you any tips on how you kept the weight off first time around?

    Hi LeeMags, well done on your weight loss and getting through the first week , I know what you mean about Saturday nights breaking old routines are the toughest , but we have made a commitment to see this through , and the results are so worth it. The last time that I did lipotrim , I continued to loose weight by sticking to two shakes or bars and a healthy dinner, and was successful for a long time but of course , I fell into old habits again , so here I am.
    If I can get through the next two weeks and then try to loose on maintance then I'll be very happy,how is week 2going for you ?

    Week 2 is going great, it def gets easier the longer you're on it. I no longer feel hungry but I def miss food lol. The Liptrim DVD we had to watch mentioned palate retraining and I keep wondering how long this takes because everything still looks and smells delicious to me . I'm thinking of doing the same thing once I get to my target to try and maintain. I'm afraid that once I start having 3 meals a day (with carbs etc) i'll pile all the weight back on. But on the other hand, I don't want to be on the maintenance diet for the rest of my life lol. I guess its just a matter a finding that balance of what I can eat without gaining. Might try and follow the Atkins rules for a while as that keeps you in ketosis, then gradually introduces carbs back into your diet. What is the weight loss like when replacing 2 meals a day with maintenance foods??

    Kel75 I see so many similarities between us! This is my second time having lost over 2st in the summer. I really thought the second time round would be so much harder but I havent been hungry at all. I think I just fill myself up with fizzy water haha! I was also looking to do it for just over 3 weeks but now I'm not convinced it's enough to get me to my target weight? Must be easier to do an extra couple of weeks when you're right into it??
    LeeMags with regard to putting weight back on I never even did the maintenance I just was very disciplined and the 7lbs I put back on happened at Christmas and I also had someone very close to me in my family pass away. I dont want it to spiral though hence why i'm back on the wagon!
    Everything in life is about being sensible - if you do lipotrim and go back to your old ways of course you'll gain weight. But to be honest it really changed my mindset about food. When I came off I honestly craved healthy things so stuck to that.
    Day 5 tomorrow....dreading the smelly breath but I have my strips to hand!

    Day 6 , today and I have to say this has been the toughest day so far, don't know why but I've been cold , tired and hungry . I know this feeling will pass so I'm just going to go to bed early .
    LeeMags I know what u mean about coming off the diet , and having to deal with our food choices , on the maintance I lost about 2lbs per week and I lost the last stone on that , I'm thinking today (since I had such a hard day) to come off tfr after two weeks and go on maintenance ...tomorrow is another day
    KerrieCherie, well done for being so disciplined , your so right not to leave the weight pile up again and get back on the wagon , best of luck tomorrow , it's so great to hear all your stories and get moral support

    Thanks for your advice girls, I think I'm already starting to think differently about food choices and have been doing a lot of research into low carb foods to eat once I stop Lipotrim, before gradually introducing them back into my diet. And at least I know I can enjoy a nice meal and if I happen to put on a few lbs I can always do the maintenance for a few weeks to get back on track. It's def good to do it straight away KerrieCherie so it doesn't get out of control (must remember this ).

    Sorry you're having a rough day Kel75 but as you say, tomorrow is another day and hopefully you'll be feeling a lot better.
