    Lee jays lipotrim story begins

    Well here I go, never done a food replacement diet before so feel a bit nervous about what's in store in the next coming months.

    I'm a real foody and love a beer, so I'm going to have to put a lot of mind over matter & crack on.

    So today is day one. A vanilla shake this morning and a strawberry this afternoon. Can't say they rocked my world, but not as bad as I anticipated. Decisions decisions for the 3rd one!! On my 6th pint of water to help surprises hunger.... Which i feel, but will pass.

    i think determination is the key to this, currently 17st 4 which is the biggest I've ever been & I'm becoming more & more camera shy, so my aim is to be 12st.... Or size 12, which ever comes first & look good for friends wedding pics come end of October.

    Any my stories or good advice are warmly welcomed ☺️

    Welcome Lee. Well done for deciding to hop on the lipo wagon. I dont want to scare you....but it may be the hardest diet uve ever done. In return. You see amazing losses. This spurs you on and motivates you to continue.

    My story. Started this time at 13 11. Im 10 11 now. Its been a gruelling 10 weeks. (i did have one blip but recovered well) I am starting to feel better and not too long till goal. Stick with it and you'll feel the same too

    Plenty of water is key. You should reach ketosis in 3 days. Thats when the hunger subsides. Stick with it.

    Hi Ava,

    You have done amazingly well, story's like yours give me the determination to be successful with this LT diet. I've prepared myself for a difficult first week, hopefully my first weigh in will then help me through week 2....

    How do you cope with the social side of things? I'm dreading drinks after work situations as don't really want to blab that I'm on the LT diet to work colleagues..... Maybe just make stuff up & swerve being social.... Take up knitting ��

    todays been an odd day, started off fine with my shake & then got stuck in a meeting so didn't have my other till gone 2:30, 5.5hours later! That kind of threw me a bit as I felt hungry on & off till about 7pm.... I missing the taste of things already, which worries me as it's only been 2 days!!!! If I'm craving food on day 2 I'll be a crazy lady by this time next week!!

    i tried peppermint tea this evening for the 1st time & not as bad as I thought, became more palatable the stronger it brewed & seemed to kill the craving!!

    i even bought a lipbalm today in fruit flavour for a sneaky taste of something!!

    hows your day been? Knitting maybe an option!! :-)

    Weekend had arrived, just gotta get through these 2 days then it's first weigh in day on Monday! I'm hoping all the ups & downs this week have been worth it. I'm really missing food, but it's more in my head then hunger...so I've just got to get over the mental part if this diet & then I've cracked it. Staying focused is the key!!

    Went food shopping with the hubby yesterday which was like walking into the devils lair, soooo much tempation...but I just stayed strong & bought more peppermint tea!

    Woken up with a bit of a headache today, but lots planned to keep me busy, although getting passed the popcorn at the flix tonight will be hard work!! Lol!

    Hi Ava, we didn't go the pictures in the end as didn't see anything we fancied, so we stayed in. I'm kinda glad we did as I've proved to myself I can stop in at weekend and not need Chinese or chocolate!! How was your weekend? I see you live in ireland, I've loads of family over there & go over every now & again, it's a great place to live!


    Today I had my first weigh in & I made a deal with myself, if under 6lb for week one then it's not worth the hunger & missing of food, but anything over & I'd continue. My pharmacist gave me my loss on kilo....which meant nothing to me as I'm old school lol! But she seemed please & I put my order in. As soon as I stepped outside I googled what she said...I then went back in to confirm what she had told me! 8kilo/17lbs!!!! I was blown away & this has given me the determination to get crack on with another week.


    Im under no illusion that next weeks loss won't be as good as this one, as I'm aware it slows down considerably, week by week for me. I hope to a loss of 4lbs next week..... But for now....I'm buzzin'

    Ahhhh a woman after my own heart. Chinese and chocolate! Well done for resisting. My weekend was so lovely thank you. Went to The Coronas (famous Irish band) on Fri with my new man, and for coffee and cinema fun Sunday. Proving one can date while on lipo. Its actually our 1 month anniversary today. Im a sap. Lol lol

    WOW Lee. 17lbs!!!! Isnt that just amazing. It is SO worth it as you see. Delighted for you honey.

    Evening Ava! Thanks dolls, I still a bit giddy by that result this morning, great motivation though. I'm telling ya I could liiiiiive of Chinese even more than chocolate!! One day we will be reacquainted with our fave Chinese chow down! Lol :-)
    Go you finding yaself a nice fella -whoop! I take it he knows your on LT? Wow so all dates have been sober ones too for a whole month!!! You're a braver woman than me Ava, I always need something to steady the nerves if I was dating. Haha!

    Ah ah I know Meath, some fam live in Ashbourne & others in Newtown Trim. Spent most of my childhood holiday in blackrock, & cabinteely in dun laoghaire where my nana & Aunty lived.

    I'm hoping to head over in the new year.... We shall have to meet for a nice Chinese haha But for now, I'm trying my first chicken soup & too be truthful it ain't that bad, actually feel like I'm having food!! )

    Hi there Harriet!

    you could say I'm a chuffed to bits lol!! So, you've been here before? At least you know that after the first few days you're thought the worst of it. I'm planning to refeed beginning of Oct as holiday on the 15th, then back on it on the lead up to Christmas, we'll mid November, refeed & enjoy Christmas....that's the plan, let's see how it goes, it's only week 2 ha!

    Yip he knows abt lipo. Our dates have been pretty epic despite zero alcohol. Lol. bet you'd be able to do it too. He wants me to stop as he thinks i look fine. But I have another 4 weeks to go I think. Sigh! Suppose ive done 12 so will be no bother to me.

    Oh hells bells! Today has been a bad day Ava! �� I had a business meeting today where I knew lunch was being served. But I had a cunning plan come lunch time to say I had to nip out at lunch and then come back & say I'd grabbed a sandwich ( no one knows apart from my hubby that I'm on LT), that way I could avoid the carb overload buffet that would be offered up! Anyway lunchtime arrived & everyone decided to carry on with the presentation whilst having lunch.....which meant I couldn't leave! I did all sort of diversions, went the loo, then the kitchen to refill my water bottle hoping all the food would be gone....unfortunately not. I was left no option but to fill my plate! I made an excuse that I had a dicky tum & filled my plate with some salad, a chicken skewer & small amount of rice.... I wanted to cry ������ I felt like I had some food disorder as I pushed most of it around and nibbled on chicken! I was gutted as I had already avoided the Danish pastries during the morning session & I know this blip will slip me out of ketosis & the next few days are going to be hard, just when the road was getting easier. To be honest, it not that that really bothers me, it the effect it will have on my body as it's probably clinging onto all those carbs ~ boo! Ah well, I'm not going to beat myself up about it, it was a situation I couldn't avoid, just need to get focused again! Lesson learnt, alway carry a spare soup in my bag, I probably could of blagged I just wanted soup if I had!!!

    Yeh I know Meath and Dublin well, love it!!!! Ahhh that's lovely that he thinks you are perfect & should come off LT,NHL sounds like a diamond! But this is your journey and you have to finish it when you feel happy to, and 4 more weeks isn't that long really. Do you start your refeed then? How long do you plan to do it for?

    In 2012 Lipotrim 100% for 16 weekS going from 12st4lbs (size 16) to target of 8st 6lbs (size 8) , total loss of 3st 12lbs. Didnít do refeed, went on and off the wagon for 6 weeks after getting to goal and lost the plot a little. Than fell pregnant at 10 st 7lbs so could not continue with lipotrim. Was just under 12 stone at full term pregnancy. After I had my baby goose the weight just piled on. Back on it for round 2 and this time I WILL MAINTAIN
