Three weeks in on Lipotrim TFR

Rod the Bass

The Outlaw Torn
HI all, I'm three weeks gone on Liptrim, I'm a 6ft 1" male and started my weight loss journey in feb 2012

I started at 20st 1lb and lost 4 - 4.5st by oct 2012

I sort of maintained and yo-yo'd half a stone or so here and there, hovering generally around the 16st mark for a couple of years, then over this summer, due to very bad habits, I whizzed up to over 17st again....

I set out to lose 6st in 2012 with a target of 13st - 13lbs and never made it....partially due to that every time I hit the mid-15's I start looking "ok" (I am tall and broad) and people tell me "thats enough".....

A friend of mine had huge success on lipotrim and lost 5st last year....I struggled to come to terms with the idea...but here I am, three weeks in and the story so far...

I have lost 30lbs in three weeks...

I use male Lipotrim and mix my shakes with 450ml of water

I use my first shake around 9.30am, then generally the second one around 5 - 6pm

I drink about 4L of water a day and around 2 - 3 cups of black tea or coffee

I've cheated with the following in three weeks;

1) 2 pieces of bacon and 2 fried eggs (once - but i felt I needed the energy for a fishing trip)

2) 2 burgers (no roll, just a burger on a fork) at a social function

3) one small 20g piece of cheese - just buckled on an overwhelming craving!

can't be more honest than this, this is me, today reporting in at 15st 7lbs with 1.5st to go - I reckon another month and I will achieve the target

I am healthy, happy and motivated by these results, I had a few side effects in week one (headaches and hard poo's) but upping the water seems to have sorted everything out

the diet is very anti-social and totally unforgiving. I am happy with this spartan life for now, it's getting me to where I've always wanted to be

I've been happier in the past three years since I wasnt 20st, so, for me, hitting the target will be worth the tough journey

feel free to say Hi, I will try to log in regularly to update this diary

Hi

You are doing so well! I really admire people who go for it and stick to it (albeit a few hiccups) but it has not affected your weightloss one bit!! I agree the diet is totally unsociable and unforgiving!! I am not booking too many social engagements over the next few months!

My partner and I started the LT diet 3 weeks ago - 2nd weigh in tonight. He started at 22st and has already lost 10lbs and I think he is in for a good weight loss this week. I have my 2nd weigh in tonight and I know I have lost but not sure how much! I did LT in 2007 and lost nearly 3st but after having a baby and life crisis (not the baby!!) I put on all the weight and more! I am not back with a bang and wanting to get rid of my weight once and for all. The only thing I will say is that this works for me and although it is drastic it gives exceptional results!

Are you able to exercise with this diet? I have been too tired to exercise this week but thought I may try for next week.

HI, I can't seem to raise the energy to exercise to be honest, work and the odd walk seems to be enough

I really flagged on a serious hill climb last fri night, the fast burn energy required for workouts and strenuous exercise just doesnt seem to be there

wish you luck with your efforts and thanks for the support

Well done you Rod!!! Only 5 days in and willing myself to the weigh in!!! Not too tough so far though so I'm hoping I'll start "enjoying" it after the first weigh in!

Seriously impressed with your losses Rod! You inspire me :)

ok, final weigh in after 5 weeks on Lipotrim, I've hit 14st 12lbs

so thats 2st and 12lbs lost since I started

I have now chosen to come off lipotrim for a few reasons, mostly because I am bored with the regime and I need a little more energy than the shakes give me as I wish to make the most of my hobby for the best of the season and take up some regular exercise again

I am now continuing on my weight loss journey utilising a high protein, low-carb diet, similar to what I did in 2012

I have 12lbs to lose and will achieve this by my 44th birthday on 11th dec

I will check in from time to time and thank everyone for the support so far, its a great forum

I wish you all well in your journey whatever method you choose

Well done indeed Rod!
Good luck on your continued regime x

Congrats on your weight loss Rod! I wish you the best with your new regime :)
