Seabre's Journey to Health and Happiness!

Hi All

I am at day one of my first ever Lipotrim journey & I sincerely hope it will be my only Lipotrim journey and LAST diet EVER!!!
I am 38 years old and have three kids 7, 5 &3. I have been big all my life and have steadily been putting on weight since 2006. I have gained 1/2 stone every year since then despite loosing weight several times on Weight Watchers or Slimming World - I never seem to stick with it and get bored and loose motivation after @2 stone or whenever I "Level Out". I hate feeling that I am making a huge effort and only staying the same weight or worse gaining a pound or two.
My main problem is lack of routine - Most days I don't make time or plan for breakfast and as I'm busy (aren't we all;)) I often skip lunch as well. This leaves me starving by 3pm and I eat heartily for the rest of the eve up to 10pm!!! Horrible lifestyle, bad for me in so many ways!!!
Normally when on a diet I start to obsess about food and the constant questioning and wondering "What can I have now or How many points have I left or How many syns in that or is it a carb day or a green day etc etc and the more I think about food the more I want food and so I begin the inevitable fall off the wagon!!!

But thats all about what I do wrong!! Now I am looking forward to taking food out of the picture altogether!! At least til Christmas;) - I hope that my old routine of going all day without eating will help me in this regard but I might be being very optimistic in this regard!!! Anyway Great to have this new forum to trawl through for inspiration or a good rant!!

Looking forward to posting my "after" pics and receiving lots of lovely compliments :D:D:D:D:D

Hi Seabre! This is my second time on Lipotrim (this time it will be the last!). In a way Lipotrim's so easy compared to other diets - 3 simple things to eat a day (I prefer the flapjacks so I don't need to think about food prep at all), no cooking/shopping/working out calories or carbs etc, much less washing up :p And really quick results so it's motivating to stay on. You will do brilliantly :D

Thanks Kamikat!!

A friend of mine put me off the flapjacks as she hated them so I dismissed them off hand when the pharmacist offered them. However - I'm having trouble facing th e3 shakes a day so I think I'll def get some next week and give them a go!
I actually quite like the black coffee (I was always a milk and sugar girl) so I kinda fancy something to nibble on with that and def think it might be easier to have only 1 or 2 shakes a day!
Good luck to you - I'm sure we'll be swapping success stories soon ;)

Hi seabre I don't like the flapjacks either. Their too heavy and overly peanuty for me... :(

Good luck on your journey! :D We will loose this weight!!

That's interesting, my pharmacist said that I'm her only client who's ever preferred the flapjacks to shakes! I was a student doing my finals last time I did LT so they were handy when I was semi-living in the university library at the time :p Now I'm quite liking the strawberry shakes, I'm picking up my flapjacks later today so I'll see how I feel about them then!

Hey All - After 3 great days I really hit a brick wall when making kids dinner tonight - It almost got too much to bear with the smell !!! I wasn't hungry just desperately craving! However, a wee tip I got on here last night re making the Chocolate shake into a mocha (mix the packet to a paste with a spoonful of coffee and a sweetner then add boiling water. I let it cool for a minute or two then gave it a shake in my shaker) I know strictly speaking you're not supposed to shake hot liquid in it but I was past the point of caring at this stage lol!!
Well the result literally saved my butt - A gorgeous comforting filling Mocha!! Def be resorting to these regularly !

Hope all going well with everyone....

Congrats on breaking through that wall seabre! :D :D :D Getting through these moments takes real strength, you've proved to yourself you can do it. Keep being awesome :) It'll be worth it when you see the results at first weigh-in, when're you going in for that?

Hi Kamikat

My first weigh in is on Mon morning and at this stage I can wait! Better be a good one cos the thought of it has been keeping me going all week. How are you doing on it? Have to say it hasn't been as bad as I thought the first week would be.... Its supposed to get easier now too - Or so they tell me!!!!

Day 6 and I'm almost there - First week nearly done, cannot wait to weigh on Mon and tick a few lbs off the list!!!

You'll feel awesome seeing that ticker on your signature move :)

Weigh in tom! Cant sleep - excitement????

Hey All!!!

So weighed in this morning and very delighted to have 11 lb off :D:D:D

So motivated for this week now! And as I ended last week with 3 strawberry shakes left over that I just couldn't face - I got a little lecture from the pharmacist, so decided to try the Flapjacks this week. So I am home with 7 Flapjacks, 7 Vanilla & 7 Chocolate shakes! Feeling very positive about this week.

Thats 11lb that I am determined NEVER to see again!

Had a wee thought..... As the pharmacist gives me my shakes etc in a specific "Lipotrim" carrier bag that, lets face it, I'm not going to be using as a Bag for Life for my weekly grocery shop
:D I was thinking of filling it with 11lb of something...... Think it would be cool to fill the bag each week with the weight I lose so I can feel in real terms what I have lost so far!!!

Any suggestions as to what I could use to fill it????

When I've tried to lose weight before I kept a jar and put in a £ for every lb I lost, I might try that again.

What a brilliant Idea Kimikat..I would need to get a re-mortgage for what I need to loose though:D xx
