Take two, go!

Hi everyone :)

I'm almost-24 years old, just come to the end of a graduate internship, now looking for a more stable job. I did lipotrim back when I was a student and lost a good 3 stone then, the weight has crept up over the last few years when life stress got in the way and I'm heavier than before :sigh:. I've tried Slim and Save and keto, those didn't work so well for me in terms of motivation. So I'm back on lipotrim to shift this weight, hoping that once I'm at a better weight I'll be more motivated to stick with keto as a long term way of eating.

Currently on Day 4, feeling fine apart from the sniffles! I felt really crummy on the second day but have felt fine since, maybe I hit ketosis early :p My birthday's at the end of November so I'm planning to stay 100% until then, then see how things are going.

Good luck to everyone on their Lipotrim journeys, we can do this!

Day 5
I didn't feel at all hungry this morning, I ate my first flapjack at about half 1. Since then I've been hungry, I'm trying to make it at least another hour before I have my dinner flapjack. Does anyone else find that they're hungrier after eating?

Hi Kamikat - Hows it going for you - We're nearly there - only 2 days to go til we are delighted with our weight loss :D

Hey Seabre :) Things're okay, felt a bit hungry this evening after dinner but water's sorting that out. This evening I've been excitedly planning the group meal I'm cooking on Sunday - being the day before weigh-in, I'm hoping that I won't be too tempted! I'm not sure I look/feel any different to when I started, hopefully the scales will say otherwise on Mon...

Day 6
Having my dinner-flapjack now. My housemate's cooking something that smells delicious, I'm enjoying the smell strangely enough. Annoyingly my asthma's been flaring up in the last few days so today I've been stuck in my room for most of the day...

Hi Kamikat! Sounds like you are doing very well , shame about your asthma though - hope you feel better tom, This might sound strange but I think you'll enjoy cooking your meal tom!! I had a big crowd around today for my 3 yr olds Bday party and I literally stood cooking all day and it really didnt bother me as I kept so busy .... It was when they all left and I had cupboard full of crisps and snacks that I started to feel a bit sorry for myself but I wouldn't waste what I've done this week for Love nor Money!! Let me know how you get on tom
Are you weighing in on Mon - I cant wait - I'll be standing outside that chemist waiting for them to open lol!!!

Hehe :) I'm weighing in on Monday morning too, that thought is going to stop be giving into temptation and joining in the group meal! I'm really looking forward to cooking to be honest, I don't usually enjoy cooking for myself but when it's for others it's like making a gift (cheesy but that's how I see it :p) Plus it's a challenge to see if I meet everyone's dietary reqs - we have a keto-er, vegetarians, and one guy who can't have lactose or gluten. I think I've got it all covered!
One more day until weigh-in!

Well Kamikat - How did the group meal go?? I hope you're feeling better??

And how did your weigh in go - more importantly ;)

Cooking was really fun :) But I admit I had a few spoonfuls of the food >_< Gah why did I do this to myself. I won't do it again.
Today I weighed in and have lost 5.5lb, not as much as I was hoping but then again I did cheat last night. This week I'll also pay more attention to my water intake. But the way I see it, 5.5lb is closer to goal than this time last week.

First weeks always the hardest but by week 3 it will be a breeze!

Kamikat - Dont be beating yourself up over that slip!!! You did amazing and should be very proud of yourself - What we just did is so not easy and I for one intend to take the credit and you should too!!!

You're too kind girls :) Ah well, onwards and upwards (or downwards in the case of weight?)
I bought half flapjacks half milkshakes this week, hopefully the increased liquid intake will also remind me to keep drinking!

Day 9
I woke up early for a job interview this morning, felt shivery and sniffly. I got as far as the bottom of the stairs before my legs started shaking, so cancelled the interview, went back to bed, and woke up 6 hours later feeling too warm and bleary >_< I'm not fussed about this interview though to be honest. I'd hoped to do more productive things today, but oh well. On the plus side food is not tempting, on the minus side I'm struggling to force this flapjack down my throat, and I still need my third meal later on! Tomorrow's training was cancelled thankfully, so I can rest and hopefully prepare for Thursdays interviews! The joys of job-hunting :p

Day 10 (already???)
Still feeling ill, but a bit better than yesterday. Pro-tip: Don't add warm water to the flapjack and make it into mush hoping that it'll taste better. On the plus-ish side it lasts longer just because it's so unpalatable! Now just looking through interview-tips websites, ahh!

The days have gone by so quickly in hindsight :p
Not feeling great about interviews tbh, I'm very introverted and often struggle with interview questions! I have one in Birmingham in the morning and one in London in the afternoon, had one on Monday in Coventry so fingers crossed I get one of these! How're you finding things?

I hate interviews too! Amnt very introverted but I just feel like I always make mistakes when I answer or it just doesn't flow. I bet the confidence you're feeling from lipotrim and the willpower you have will help though! Also, how exciting to have interviews in different cities and have all those options before you. Feeling positive today, work not too bad :)

Mmm, but if none of them come through then I'll be disappointed... must stop this negativity :p
Glad work's not too bad today, how did things go with that deadline?
