    Mindy's Diary

So, day 29. Have totally lost my mojo today and am throwing an internal hissy fit re drinking water etc. am also craving carbs. But the great thing is that I can totally recognise why I'm feeling like this-my oh applied for another job, didn't get it and he's really disappointed. I feel really bad for him and my first recourse normally would be to reach for some delicious comfort food. So obviously I am not really hungry but just looking for comfort. So at least I have identified a trigger for my excessive eating. Now off to refill the water bottle and have a cup of peppermint tea

Don't give in! It's great that you can recognise your own triggers, stepping away from food for a bit has helped me a lot with that. Peppermint tea is brilliant

Hey Kami- how's it going for ya? Am feeling determined after this morning and just reminding myself that only have about 6 weeks left before refeed.

Yes please don't leave us on the forums!!!! I totally understand your decision and for what it's worth I think it's very sensible. I'm also slightly envious of you being able to eat actual food!! But seriously, do stay around for the chat xxx

Another run done today at lunchtime. Am making it a goal of mine to run every single day. I WILL get to goal as planned- am not going to let myself sabotage my efforts. Am quite hungry after run though so will have to drink lots of sparkling water

So starving this morning. Did a 5k run in the pouring rain yesterday and was just knackered after it. Anyway, am sitting cozy on couch now with a cup of strong black coffee. Determined to see the 10's. Only 6 pounds away.

Woo for being only 6lb away, you're so so close and are doing wonderfully Mindy How're you doing? Refeed's harder than I remember, it's so tempting to slip into old habits. It feels like I go to the extremes - total food replacement or wanting to eat everything, I'm struggling to stick to a balance... tomorrow's weigh-in so I'll see how things go.

I can so identify with being at complete extremes of the spectrum when it comes to eating. I am a total all or nothing person so I am a bit concerned about refeed myself. Still have another 33 days to go or so so have a bit of time yet to plan. I can just see myself slipping into old habits unless I really change how I think about food. And I think that's so easier said than done. Maybe the non-food treats and daily weighing would help with that. How're you finding it all? Are you glad to be back on food? I have to say I had a really tough weekend for some reason but I am relieved I got through it. When are you hoping to move to keto? Xxx

My belly is starting to disappear!!!

Good morning all, this morning was the first morning that I noticed a change to my body and my stomach is starting to recede a little bit. That in itself is enough encouragement to keep going!

    Whoooo!!!
