Lipotrim- A Mans Journey 2015

Ok, here is my story. I'm Mark a 33 year old male who has got badly out of shape the last couple of years due to various reasons. Won't bore you with the detail :) .

Well i am 5ft 8in and reached 16st 11lb early 2015. I have decided enough is enough and this is the year im going to get my body back. I plan to stay on this diet as far as April 2015 and see how much i can lose. I'm using this diet to kickstart my weight loss and start the changes in my lifestyle.

For those thinking of starting the diet it is not easy and requires strong commitment. Ignore the horror stories as if you dont change your habits you will regain weight (same as any other diet).
Once i finish the diet i plan to maintain and lose more if needed.

I began the diet on Jan 16th 2015 and in my first week lost 11lb. I'm currently on week 2 day 4. First three days were tough but im now in the groove and drinking plenty of water each day.

Want to use this forum to track my progress and any inspiration you guys have is more than welcome.

Ok, now on week 2 day 5 and my energy levels are through the roof. Felt so good last night i cleaned the house from top to bottom, hoovered/washed floors, dusted, put bins out and even got the laundry done. ;) Needless to say my wife loves this diet ;)

I'm looking for advice on excercise? Can anyone tell me if they did any running on this plan? I wanna get back to the gym and do a bit on the treadmill. Any advice?

Hi Mark

Well done, sounds like you're doing fab!

Some can and some can't do exercise - best plan is to listen to your body and be very aware. No point in pushing your body even harder and breaking it or making yourself ill.

Best

Kay

Hi Kay,

Thanks for advice. So far have just being doing a bit of walking to try keep myself active. How are you doing with the plan? I'm finding it tough to get the water into me in this cold weather but am aiming to get minimum of 3 litres in to me each day. Are you on the lipotrim or is it Slim and Save your doing? Your an old hand at this :)

I have my weigh in this evening so will update later.

Have a good day.

Mark.

Hi Mark

I think walking is great. So long as you're feeling ok doing it at the time and it's not making you feel ill. Low calories effects everyone differently and have heard of people fainting getting out the shower or being dizzy going from sitting to standing.
I'm not doing too bad for day 3 ;) I used to live in africa, so developed the water drinking habit a long time ago so it doesn't worry me and I actually enjoy it. I did LT 2 years ago, but have switched to SnS this time. Loved LT but I'd struggle to justify the cost this time around as it's gone up quite a bit. Sticking to much the same flavours and just pretending it's LT without the pharmacy visits. Not sure how I did 28 weeks last time, but will need to do something similar this time around too. One week at a time :p

Hope you had a good weigh in.

K

Hi Mark,

I had trouble getting the water down too at first. I took someone else's advice and made it a discipline to drink one glass directly before and directly after each feed. Then I take three 16 oz bottles with me through out the day, and take a swig whenever I can. They inch down over the day, and that's the whole day's water intake met. For a woman anyway. I think you probably have to drink more as a guy, right?

I had great energy my first few weeks of the diet. Amazing energy--just like you described. I am more tired on my third and fourth weeks now. And have had some energy crashes. Drinking the right amount of water seems to help. I am not as crash prone if I've kept up with the water. Still, over all, I can say I have very seldom been hungry, have usually been clear headed, and have usually but not always had good energy. Nearing the end of my fourth week, so that feels like progress.

Hi Kay,

Yes so far walking is going well so going to try gym this weekend and see can i do 30 mins on the treadmill. Running should be easier now with some weight gone :)

28 weeks thats some achievement well done you. Im going to try for 12 weeks if i can like you say take it week to week and see how it goes. Your right the LT is costly alright but i think its worth it to get the healthier me im looking for.

Had my weigh in at pharamacy last night and i lost 7lbs so have a good start now so far so good. Hope you have a good week.

Hi Pandora,

Yes, I have a water bottle with me now during day too which i have at my desk in work. Water fountain nearby for top ups so am getting it into me. I find 500ml before and after feed helps then i usually get 4 litres into me during the day. The toliet visits have lessened as i got used to drinking the water so its just a case of keeping the habit up.

I'm now starting week 3 day 1 and so far so good. Cant say i feel hungry but do find myself watching man vs food more :) You have a great loss so far for 4 weeks in well done and thanks for advice.

Well done Mark on your weight loss, you are doing great!:happy096:

Cheers Mini, best of luck i see you started over the weekend. I find the weekends are the hardest. Im on week 3 day 4 now and have lost 18lbs so far. Only going by official weigh in as my scales at home gives me all sorts of readings. Its a tough diet but the results are there if you stick to it 100%. Good luck.

Hi all,

Had my official weigh in last night and lost 5 pound this week. I have lost a total of 21 pounds after 3 weeks. Here is my progress so far:

Youre doing great so far and it's good you are in the swing of it. If you can do it for 4 weeks you can do it for another 4, then another. You've proven that to yourself., so take it in 4 weeks stages? Good luck with weigh in and please let us all know :)

so so far so good thank you :)
