Lipotrim - My journey

Hey everyone,

So I am a total newbie to this site but after reading about other peoples journeys and the support they gained i could not resist tracking my progress with all you lovely people!

So a little about me. I am 23 years old and currently around 215lbs / 97.5kg / 15.3stones ( I am 5ft11in ). My goal is around the 165lb / 75kg mark at the moment but that could change as I cannot remeber what I look like at that size! But according to my BMI that will be a good starting goal.

I have tried the normal eat healthy and exercise and yes it defo works and is properly the healthiest way but I find I get too bored and demotivated by the slow results, bad I know. So then I tired the Dukan diet which worked well and lost about 14kg/20lbs. I was motivated by my graduation but once that passed I slowly got back into horrible habits and i am now here.

I saw Lipotrim in a local pharmacy and read up on it but thought I could not do a shake diet, not enough will power and I love eating! But now I NEED/WILL lose this weight.

I am going away to Greece on the 13th July and do not want to spend another holiday trying to wrap up and not taking photos.

So long story short tomorrow I am going to the pharmacy to get a little more info and will be starting on Tuesday 5th May 2015. I will be updated my experience to help others either new to Lipotrim or those already on it, I know from reading other posts how much it helps and it has already helped me ALOT! So if I could do the same that would be great. Also I would love support especially on the days I am struggling :cry:and if i make a few friends along the way then BRILLIANT!!

Anyways I will update more tomorrow after my visit and look forward to starting this journey with you all! :)

Here are some tips/hints that helped me through on the tough days

The first week can be hard.. But honestly once you get past it, the shakes are like second nature. You will have bad days. Do not break the diet. As it will put you back to the beginning and you will have to go into ketosis agaiN.

Drink plenty of water.
Focus on goals Non scale as well as scale goals.
Take before measurements and pictures
Log on here if you are struggling
Keep a bottle of water with you all the time
Sparkling water is nice with a few sweetner tablets
Chocolate is nice hot with sweetners
Vanilla is nice with coffee hot and sweetners
Adding pepper makes the chicken soup nicer
Flapjacks are gross
Figure out your food triggers and try deal with the mental aspect of weight gain
Get involved in discussions on here
You will be extra cold.
Keep an eye on bowel movements

There are loads of other threads with advice... Just read a few loads of tips and best of luck...

You are amazing! thanks for the advice.. excited to start on tuesday now... not sure if i will be saying that by weds haha

Hahahaha the first day is normally excitement it's the dreaded day3/4 ya have to worry about haha... Just remember paracetamol and water tons of it are your friend ha..

Buying fiberclear and using in every shake and the breathe strips are also things that got me through...

And organise treats for each mini goal you reach... Non food ones obviously ha...

Ya have to look at this kind of diet logically it's not foreveR and it's a lot faster than other diets...

I am dreading the withdrawal symptoms. The only think on my side is i easily drink 2 liters of water a day so that should help and i will have pain killers at the ready! haha.. Like you said in the great scheme of things this will be a short/small sacrifice to be happier in the long run!

oo will have a read over that post now. I think the last two days all i done is read every post i can find! haha. But i will defo be ranting soon i imagine and pleaseeee kick my butt if i try to give up! you will be exactly what i will need to keep me going. All i need to keep thinking is Greece Greece GREECEEE!!!

The only painkillers ya can use are plain paracetamol... Just to keep in mind... But seriously once week one is done that's it.. Hunger is gone. You may have cravings but they are mental cravings.

And realistically food never tastes as good as it smells or looks hah..

I will haha... I promise... I'm always on here so rant away..

That's the thing I measured myself and tried on my skinny clothes every two weeks and took photos... Because sometimes the scale doesn't show just how well you are doing...

Also be careful with exercise.. Light walking is fine But exercise actually stalled my weightloss so just b be mindful of that... (it doesn't affect everyone like that)

Also don't let low losses one week get ya down ya may lose 1lb one week then 4/5lb the next

no matter what... Ya stay on it 100% the only way your weight is going is down :)

off topic, how do i reply to a particular message you post. So you know exactly what message i am replying to instead of a general reply.. if that makes sense!

Thanks! I was looking at that button but didnt want to press it incase was something else! Yeah i think any weightloss i will be happy with as like you said if i lose 5 one week and 1 the next its still 6lbs in two weeks which is amazing!

I will hold you to me ranting to you! will put that to good use next week haha. I will take pictures the day before i start then weekly as i know the dreaded scales are not always the best thing to follow alone! Think i will dig up a old bikini and take my picture in take :cry:and aim to be comfortable in that this summer

I am currently a member of a gym and go with my mum normally 5 days a week. for the first week or two, depending how i feel, i will be cutting it out totally or maybe going and doing slow/light cycling just for the social element but will listen to my body as i know it can counteract my progress. then maybe after time build up to strolling along on a treadmill.

Yeah some people have no issues with exercise and a vlcd... Others (like me) find it hinders losses... As ya say play it by ear :)

Right off to bed for me :)

Thats my bedtime reading sorted then! Cant wait to read!!! well i am off to bed now, have dentist early morning :p (i love the dentist weirdly haha) then off to the chemist to join plus they said they have no stock as no one else here does it so will need to order in my goodies!

Very exciting hehe... good luck with both...
