Well its finally time to log back into MiniMins...

Where have I been? I stopped slimming world after a few months as I was finding it hard to keep up with the diet/changes alongside living at home and having family meals. I then joined WW, lost a few pounds, went up and down and had a rubbish time in my personal life which as many will know - it has a bad effect with food!

I graduated university (yay! go me!!), however, instead of the joyous time I should have had - it was a bit pants due to my weight/personal life etc!

NOW - I've joined a fitness centre (NOT a gym...) where my trainer is absolutely fantastic, understands my needs/my life and is extremely supportive. Since joining I've lost 18lb and I'm now the lowest weight I can remember being. Its great seeing the weight go down and he is just as enthusiastic as I am... if not more!

What's more is I am thoroughly enjoying myself alongside losing weight - shocking!!

So here goes... once again my new journey - I've got about 12 stone to shift (however, it may be less due to my workouts/toning etc!)

Hopefully I will be able to chat to some of you alongside this journey and maybe we can help each other out and spur each other on! :)

well done on the loss x x x

Fantastic. Well done for losing 18lbs!

How are you keeping?

Thank you :)

I'm not too bad - had a busy week and have been ill also so not really expecting a huge loss - a pound would be great, anything else is a bonus!

Need to remember not to be too hard on myself when I have not-so-good weeks, I'm loosing inches and body fat and gaining muscle so my weights not the be all and end all!

How are you? I think we used to chat when I came on here a while ago!

Weigh in been and gone, a pound off - which I'm happy with this week :)
Next pound takes me into my next stone too! Exciting times ahead!

Wow... I keep forgetting to log in on here and post! I'm up to 38lb lost now... Which is quite amazing for me, the quitter! Hah!

Think I've lost over 25 inches from waist, upper arm, hips and leg now! And 3 dress sizes.

Had a bad few weeks due to injury where I couldn't train and the slippery slope started eating rubbish and lots of it!

I've figured out that bread is my enemy, weeks where I would eat bread more than once/twice I would sts or gain. Last week I cut all bread out (alongside fizzy drinks!) and I lost 6lb! So glad to be back on track now!

Well done on the fab loss - this week and overall!

Think you could be right about bread - but i do love it so! :(

Me too :( But I have cut it out on the whole - or I have weight watchers bread (small slices only 50 cals each) (or the white one for about 63 i think it is) or the sandwich thins. Don't eat anywhere near the amount that I used to though.

Well done on the loss lovely :D xxx

Thank you!
I must remember to log into here more often for the support! ( I get support outside - but its nice to sometimes vent to people you don't know!)
Had quite a good day today - its so hard finding food for lunch that doesn't involve bread of some sort (bar salad - but I cannot eat that day in day out!) But yes, bread is the ultimate enemy for me - small price to pay for weight loss and health though I suppose! xx

im same bread is my evil lol lol x x x

Hi everyone following this :)
Anyone else a serial weigh-er? I'm on and off the scales every two minutes (not good I know...) only problem is mine weigh me a lot heavier than my trainers do and I've been SO good this week logging all my things on MFP and keeping off the bread and fizzy drinks!
I've had ONE fizzy drink this week and I've got to say, it was lovely - but not as nice as I thought it would be!

Weekends are the absolute worst at the moment, I'm busy busy and find it hard to grab food! Anyone got any hints as to what I can have for lunches that doesn't include bread (not salad or soup either as I'm bored stupid of those at the moment!) xx

what about ryvita instead of bread you could have cottage cheese or meat or whatever you like on them or a pasta salad homemade x x x

If you get any free time during the week, are you able to batch cook or prepare anything in advance for you? Or maybe as a one off, perhaps a ready meal (weightwatchers, be good to yourself, healthy living etc - or a normal one that's 'low in calories' a sa way of giving yourself a little time off?

I struggle with ready meals as I like to try keep everything as 'clean' and unprocessed as possible, plus I have no microwave in work so its going to be a hard one! I was thinking of cooking up some rice dishes in the mornings where I'm not training that I could eat cold! Otherwise its sticking to salads for me!
Although I've got some wraps today (which I can eat and don't feel bloated/put weight on!) so I could take them for lunch and have a tuna wrap!

I'm such a fussy eater too which isn't great! (AKA I like all the things that are bad for me....)
Thanks for the ideas everyone! x

I understand love, I'm the same as you. I am a v picky eater - though I admit I am actually getting marginally better with this healthy eating lark.

I don't like "salad" to be honest, (tomatoes/cucumber/cabbage/carrot etc), but I do like to add extras to it - like cottage cheese, hummus etc that I'd never had before I did healthy eating, new potatoes, boiled eggs etc.

LOVE almost all fruit. Dislike all veg other than processed peas and potatoes. It can be a struggle to eat properly, especially when calorie counting. It's worth giving things a try though - you never know, it could be the making of you :)

It's a pain when I like certain foods apart - but not together! I used to absolute adore pasta and now I've gone right off it as it just puts me in a carb coma and I feel like I'm going to explode! (lovely image!) I actually quite like salad food, it just gets boring after having it day in day out - made up some tuna and sweetcorn to have for lunch tomorrow on a wrap! (found some brilliant mini ones in tesco that are the size of a side plate)

I've learnt to love veg as well, some of it I cannot stand and won't touch with a barge pole... but I'm getting there slowly but surely! Ended up buying some peas in pods today instead of going to get an unhealthy snack!

Weigh day tomorrow... hope its as nice of a surprise as last weeks! x

Good luck with weigh in tomorrow xxx

I've STS the last two weeks... argh!
Not in a great place at the moment with everything, need to get some positivity back into my life!!
