Slimalisious for Christmas!

I am a 45 year old grand mother who would love to have my photos taken with my grand children where I don't look like I am taking up most of the picture!
I will be trying slimming world at home the best I can. Due to my job I can no longer go to group.
So this is the best place for me to continue with my weight battle. Feel free to comment on my progress. I don't bite :)
Breakfast was bacon and egg sarnie and a coffee. Hex a and 6 syns for spread and brown sauce.

I forgot to add a hex b to the breakfast.
My son decided he wanted to make fried dumplings for lunch with bolognese minced beef. I didn't get to check the label of the mince so no idea of syns for the meal. It was very nice though. I have to say I taught him well. Not that he would admit to that lol. I have chucken fajita waiting for me this evening. Have to go shop and get food in for tomorrow. No exercise done today. Just washed work clothes and lazed around in bed! While I'm at the shop I could pick up some ingredients for a soup. Yep soinds good. Going to look up recipes now.

Morning
I woke up pretty late this morning so just going to put up what I have eaten and what I will be taking to work.
Breakfast was bacon egg and tomatoes.
And lunch will be ham and egg sandwich with light cheese spread a muller light and some fruit that I will get on the way to work or out and about.

Oh hello.

I am with you on the photos at christmas I am sick of being the big blob in the pics.

I need to lose 78lbs in total but even if I dont manage to get to my goal weight losing at least 1/2 of that by christmas would be great.

I only started (AGAIN) on saturday so will update you when I WI at the weekend.

I am doin a mix of WW & slimfast - not for everyone I know but just gonna use up what I have left in the cupboards.

So I ended up having banana and strawberries with my yogurt. I also had an ice cream for 11syns. It was amazing! Haven't allowed myself any for almost 6 months. But it was a small tub and I didn't want to feel that I had to ask permission to eat what I fancied. When I got home I snacked on 3 chicken drumsticks ( free food ) while waiting for my baked fish with cherry tomatoes and a boiled egg. It was surprisingly tasty! So no pics was hungry and ate before thinking of that. I finished off the evening with a coffee latte and a geo bar for 3 syns. So all in all I was on plan today and didn't go over my syn allowance! :D
I can't wait to be able to fir into a cinema chair without going in sideways or knocking the table each time I get up to leave the table and everyone grabs their drinks. So embarrassing! The thing is I love food. It's just that simple. And as I have gotten older with less responsibility financially I have been able to try different food and go out to eat in a range of restaurants or cook a new recipe. I also have a wicked sweet tooth. Puddings, cake, chocolates, ice cream.......you get the picture! Anyway, looking for a loss this Friday morning!

Yeah I am a food lover too.

Would much rather go out for a nice meal than do anything else.

Your dinner sounds delish.

I had rice with vegetables tonight. Snacked on some hazelnuts.

Ohh nuts. I used to love eatung them but haven't got any back teeth to crunch on at the moment. Waiting for my new nashers at the dentist lol.

I have been having 16g of nuts a day cos that is 100 calories.

I swear it looks ridiculous carrying a wee tub with like 9 nuts in it :D

Didn't have time to update what I had yesterday so off the top of my head here we go.
Breakfast was bacon tomatoes and an omelette with 2 toast and spread plus a coffee. Lunch was a mugshot and I was too hungry to cook when I got in so I had a rustler burger instead. Not the best days.
Today I had yogurt and a banana for brekkie and am having lunch al fresco as we speak. Chicken fajita salad. Have a ham and egg sandwich for later in case I get caught like yesterday. Plan to have tuna and pasta for tea tonight.

Well breakfast today I had a banana shake with some raisins,

Lunch strawberry shake with some nuts.

I have grapes to snack on throughout the day.

Not sure what is for dinner yet.

Gonna treat myself & get my nails done tonight.

Looks good. I haven't had my nails done in like 2 years! Work with the elderly and have to set a good example to my carers and be plain Jane at work. Sometimes don't make sense doing my mails for one day but I do cos I want to feel pretty!

Well done on letting the bad stuff only stay for one meal, that's sometimes one of the hardest things there is to pick yourself up again after giving in (and we're all human. We all do it! I'm craving a chicken escalope with the sauce stuff on from Asda right now :( )

Thanks Princess. I too am craving a cake or biscuit or choclate. But my son and his girlfriend have supported me in not keeping any junk food within my eyesight so have had to do without :( But I am super scared that tomorrow will prove extremely hard as I will be with a client and carer for 2 hours and they have pasta and cream sauces for lunch and slabs of cake and coffee afterwards. :eek::( I just feel like crying! Roll on Friday!

Keep up the motivation.

It can be hard, I caved in last night & had a KFC but for once stopped eating when I was full rather than eating the lot anyway so I suppose that is a small glory in itself.

Back on it today though even though I was tempted to just give in & have a bad day but I try to remind myself why I am doing this.
