Hey all. I am going to keep this as a diary for June. Including calories, weight, and pics from the beginning and the end. Please feel free to join me. I aim to lose 1 stone this month and walk the dog twice a day, use slendertone every day and do the splits and crunch challenge. New month, new me. I also intend on trying to look half decent everyday as I never normally make enough of an effort. Look good feel good. So please join me. It's going to be a good month. X

Milkshake for breakfast, half a scone as snack, homemade chicken curry for dinner.

Slim fast snack bar and milkshake for tea. Been very good today. X

well done love one day down more to go x x x

Ok today's diet. Slimfast for breakfast, jacket potato with tuna for lunch. 2 slimfast snacks and 2 thorntons chocs. 2 hours of dance class. Slimfast for tea. Not too bad.

Had you worked out your BMR etc out so you're eating the right amount for you? :)

No I really haven't, just going with 1200.

Very tempted to go off plan today. Ended up having a pot of joy, extra slimfast snack and a French fancy at school. Not too bad considering I was ready for a huge take away and pudding. Would have eaten more than my whole day in one meal, easily.

Oh wow, that's far too low for your stats, hon. I'd
recommend calculating your BMR as mentioned by PSP, and don't eat any lower than that. No wonder you already want to go off plan! :) xx

I know Thursday will be a bad day. I've got 50 kids on a school trip from 7:30am - 10:30 pm. Longest day of the year. It's amazing, loads of dancing and running around but burger vans and junk food appear x

Crikey, good luck!

Like Tracy said about your BMR, I had mine worked out via MFP (which is about 1200 less than what it should be which gives me leeway) and I was actively eating between 1200-1500 which I was hoping would make the weight just drop off (and sometimes I just genuinely wasn't hungry or I worked through lunch without realising like when I was gardening or deep cleaning so didn't eat until the evening meal). My weightloss tailed off to nothing and I kept STS.

After advice from Tracy and some other lovely ladies who'd been there and knew a lot more - I upped it to around 2000 as MFP had me aiming for at that time - and it fell off again and hasn't stopped. It's weird, but it does pay to eat more. Eating less did nothing for me!

Plus it also leaves you nowhere to go when you've lost more weight - you can't decrease your calories when they're already that low :)

That's exactly right, hon. It's so important to start on higher calories, or you're far less likely to keep losing. :) xx

35 hours work in 2 days and about 10 more tomorrow. Very tired. Haven't stick to plan. X
