Back With a Vengeance!

Hello everyone!

So, after a long year of ups and downs (many downs!), I have decided to hop back on that specially-reinforced wagon that is Slimming World!

My main problem with losing weight, is that I get bored very easily and don't get much support from people, so I'm hoping that posting on here will open up a way of venting my frustrations and celebrating my achievements :)

Welcome lovely, you're definitely in the right place :) we're here to help!

hi jamie

welcome we are here to help you love x x

Hiya Jamesie and welcome :wavey:

You'll get all the support you need right here hun, everyone is so friendly and helpful :)

Well, I lost 5.5lbs this week! So that's a good start :D

hi jamie
well done love

It's been a good week this week, with a couple of slips (had 2 bags of wotsits on Tuesdays when I was already over my syn allowance). But overall, I stuck to everything very rigidly and managed to lose 3.5lbs in the process! I didn't get SotW, because someone lost .5lb more than me, but I got my 1/2st certificate!

All in all: back of the net!

That jammy bugger! Sods law ;) But that is still massively brilliant - well done lovely! :)

Oh I would have stolen their certificate!!!

Well done on the loss, that's brilliant :D

I'm coming to you this week from the nearest rooftop!

So, I was prepared for a loss because I had had a good week, however when I got on the scales and lost 3lbs, I was slightly disappointed. I said to the lady who weighs me, "do you mind if I take my shoes off?"...

Turns out my shoes weigh 2lbs!

So, I actually lost 5lbs, lost my first stone AND finally got Slimmer of the Week! Today is a day for celebration :D

That is brilliant. So very happy for you and it must be a massive boost for you to keep going! Supersonic!!:wow:

It's that time of the week again, which means...

I lost 4lbs! Got Slimmer of the Week again, too - which is nice! :)

This week was the first time that since starting the plan that I went out for lunch, and me and a friend went to Wagamama. Considering this is one of the healthier restaurants to go to for a meal, there is quite a lot of stuff which has 30+ syns, so I avoided those and went for the Teriyaki Chicken Donburi (which I calculated to be about 17 syns). I had half a serving of mochi cakes for dessert (which were delicious!), and they came to about 6.5 syns for the serving I had.

I had allowed myself an upper limit of 30 syns, just so I didn't feel like I was restricted to one or two dishes. On the contrary, there were at least 10 dishes on the menu that were available to me, so I will definitely be going there again.

After only having 23.5 out of 30 syns for that meal, I can at least tell myself that that was a small accomplishment, rather than beating myself up for going over my 15 syn limit. It's what Flexible Syns are all about, right?!

Also, I just want to say thanks to the people that have been reading and giving me the boost to carry on from week to week. I may not say a lot, but I do read your blogs and I do know that you're all doing splendidly :)

Wow, well done again! I am so chuffed for you. You are sounding really positive and happy. Keep it up my friend, proud of you. Bev x :)
