Breakfast:
1 coffee with 1 teaspoon sugar w/ 1 serving evaporated milk
I slice of toast with fried egg, no butter, just salt and pepper:

Lunch:
2 pork steaks
heaped broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
lots of gravy (well.. 2/3 of a mug full. I like dinner with my gravy, what can I say?!)

Tea:
Can of pea and ham soup and 2 crumpets

Snacks:
1 calippo, 2 pink lady apples, a frube yoghurt tube

Drinks:
4 coffees (not including breakfast one.)

Didn't calorie count as mind wasn't in it (Daughter went to stay with her father for 5 days while I'm working and I feel lost!)

Day 2:

Breakfast: Pink Lady Apple
Coffee with 1 sugar, evaporated milk.

Lunch:
Chicken Katsu Bento box from Waitrose
Raspberries
A banana

Dinner:
Pizza Express Light Giardinaira pizza (less than 500cals for the whole pizza!!)
2 kiwi fruits
more raspberries (they were down from £2 a punnet to 70p, how was I meant to say no?)

I've still got 500cal left of what My Fitness Pal suggests

(To lose 1.5lb a week I'm on 1940 calories)..

Any suggestions, as I don't want to waste calorie allowance?
(So tempted to have the other pizza even though I'm not all that hungry!)

Looks great! Good to see that you're eating a decent number of calories - so many people seem to think they have to have around 1,200 a day to lose weight, which can be disastrous, especially if you've got a fair bit to lose! I started on around the same amount as you, and gradually reduced it as my weight dropped. I'm now on a fairly constant 1,400 a day for maintenance. :) xx

I've crash dieted before, and ended up bigger than ever.

I'm trying to break up my calorie allowance into chunks, 300 for breakfast, 700 for lunch, 600 for my dinner and 340 for coffee/snacks... but I'm struggling Think I've been too wary of going above my allowance!

How often did you drop your calorie allowance? I don't want to lose everything too quickly.

Yes, I crash dieted when I was 20, and had a lot of knock-on issues in addition to the inevitable weight re-gain!

I more or less played it by ear in terms of calorie reduction, just shaved a bit off whenever my losses decreased. But I've never gone consistently lower than 1,400 - I now have that amount 6 days a week and then a bit more on the other day, and that's working as maintenance. :) xx

here here tracy x x

If there are days where you feel you can't eat anymore but you've still got extras don't worry. You can always hoover up an extra few on a day where you're more hungry (I always find I'm ravenous for a few days around my totm.) Always try and get as close as you can though - it's easier to gently lower it as you get to a plateau that way round to keep the weightloss moving.

Hey Sounds like you are doing well, I love raspberries :) xxx

Thanks hunny. I still felt peckish today (did lost of moving heavy stuff around at work today, so have probably got a few exercise calories in my favour, so have had a 2nd dinner today!

I can't get over how freeing it is doing the weightloss thing this way. I got so stressed counting points (esp when I couldn't find the points for something I wanted!), that that would be what would kick my "bugger it" button on and I'd go silly with the food. But just keeping under my 1940 a day I'm doing fine :)

Friday:

Breakfast:
Costa Skinny Latte (Massimo)
Costa Granola (34% of my sugar allowance, will be avoiding this for a while!)

Lunch:
Tesco Healthy Living Chicken and Bacon sandwich
Walkers Baked Cheese and Onion Crisps
Dr Pepper Zero

Dinner 1: Same pizza as yesterday

Dinner 2: 2 peppercorn crusted steaks

Snacks: 2 bananas (if you are what you eat this explains EVERYTHING!)
1 kiwi fruit

Drinks: 3l of water
1 coffee with evap milk and 1 sugar.

Calorie Total: 1934

34%? :O Crikey! That is a ridiculous amount of sugar for a "healthy" type breakfast.

Hope the extra moving has helped love :D

I must admit I've not known any diet work for me like CC has! :)

I know! It horrified me. It was porridge for me this morning and myfitnesspal was much happier with me

Well done love :) I love porridge, you can put whatever you want into it and still be less sugar and salt as it's to your own standards.
