Hi - 6 stone to lose!

Hello everyone

I've just joined hoping for support and advice as I lose 6 stone. I'm doing WW, attending meetings and this week, doing the Simple Start plan. I love cooking so am excited about devising new healthy recipes! My downfalls are takeaways, crisps and bread.

I'm doing this to get healthy (suffer from sleep apnoea and PCOS) as I really want to volunteer in Africa next summer.

That's a hell of a goal to work towards :) Welcome lovely! (Crisps are my vice too!)

Well my first week went well. I lost 4.5lbs. Really pleased with that and I feel like I'm up and running in this weight loss thing! It will be a lot easier when I'm back at work in two weeks as I'll be more active and less surrounded by food! I did the WW Simple Start programme last week, so no pointing or counting which just felt wrong! It did me good however, to clear my body of cr@p for a week! Doing same this week but also have 49 points to use over the week. I can't weigh in over the next two Saturdays as have festivals to go to, so must find alternative weigh ins or I'll use the excuse not to be good!

Fab start lovely and yea I was always the same if I knew I wasn't going to group gave me extra few days to stray off plan so worth having a look for a different one, have a nice Sunday x
 
Woo hoo what a start!!

I want to lose 6st exactly too!

I am doin SW & will have my first WI on Saturday morning - eeeek!!

Day 1 for me today & its going well so far.
