    Talking Karens 100lb story.

Morning diary,(formally karens 100 days) after a crazy few months financially sorting our lives out I am happy to report one promotion for hubby extra hours in work for me and a small payrise, a huge cut up of credit cards and clearing them and a happier Karen. Alas this has hit me on the diet scene big time same as lots food is my go to crutch in life and most probably always will. I am 3 weeks away from taking my 7 year old to Euro Disney with my hubby and am a stone away from being my fighting weight of around 21 stone this is where I am comfortable in my size 26 clothes and can walk happily for hours and hours so I am having a bash of slim fast which I have never tried before for a full 3 weeks till we go and have promised myself I will not cheat for the full 21 days I am back to read how well you have all been doing as your all fab, I have tried pathetically all year but obviously not hard enough but I am determined not to start again new year I am restarting now.

Welcome lovely!!! huge congratulations on your weight loss so far and I have my fingers tightly crossed for you

I'm with you, I'm having a full month that is 100% before December comes. I want to drop the 19lb left to get to 20 stone for Christmas and I'd been a little too leniant over the past 2 or so months so it's time to really kick things up a gear.

You can do it!! I promise! The first couple of days I was getting antsy (I guess as I went cold turkey from the diet coke and "healthy" crisps) but 8 days in and I'm not even craving them! Good luck!! We can do it!! :
Goal: Lose 13lb by Christmas (or at least get as close as possible!)

Goal: Lose 6st 9lb before Christmas (to 20st)

Awww thanks both. I am ready for the antsy feeling it usually arrives day before weigh in I know it well , and yea I am quite looking forward to going now just want to be able to get back into my clothes, I have been trying to do this all year and gained and gained but heh ho. I am hoping taking two of the three meal choices out of the picture and just counting cals alongside the shakes will help, there doesn't seem a lot a people using slim fast yet it's been around forever ! I am going to settle on 1500-1600kcals.

Breakfast- Strawberry shake with a tiny portion of frozen berries 250kcals.
Lunch-small bowl of home made soup and a w/m roll. 250kcals.
Tea-aiming for 500kcals of loveliness possibly beans on toast or something similar.
supper- Banana shake 250kcals (night shift so will need something before I go)
Snack- will be a packet of crisps and a banana. 250kcals
other 100kcals for milk in coffee.

I am waiting for bars and snacks to be delivered tomorrow so can mix it all up and plan the week properly, I only do 1 night shift a week so can get into a routine on days.

Day 1 is going ok. !

Hiyas xx Well had a shift from hell in work last night so possibly my last night shift unless something drastically changes..

Home from work went straight to bed for a change so had nothing to eat til lunchtime I was starving and could have emptied the fridge bud didn't !!

Sainsbury lamb roast dinner 350 kcals with extra cauli brocolli sprouts and swede and carrot mash I filled my plate but didn't go over 500kcals.
Choc peanut bar OMG their amazing !!
    apple
Choc crispy meal bar AGAIN fab!!
cup of home made veg soup, and a packet of salt n shake crisps 200kcals.

This is very low cals wise for someone my size but don't know if I should add on extra snacks or bulk out main meal but I don't lose eating this low.

Morning x Back in work so having a nosey how everyone is doing I have jumped on the scales daily this week just to see how things are going and I can't believe how much has fallen off but I won't get too excited til my Saturday weigh in. I am absolutely zonked we have both promised ourselves we will have early night after early night but still at midnight we are up watching rubbish on tele. So I am going to have an early one tonight without a doubt as its wearing me out completely and I want to make sure it is lack of sleep making me tired not not having enough calories.. I am really loving SF at the mo the ease in work is tremendous just grab a bar and a piece of fruit and that's it for the day!! and still being able to look forward to a nice evening meal with the family I am craving bacon and eggs today so will have that I think tonight, or maybe a giant jacket potato with bacon beans and eggs YUM !!
    Choc crisp bar for breakfast
    banana
    peanut bar
    sf snack bar
jacket potato beans bacon and egg and a salad.
nice fruit salad later in the evening to boost cals.

Have drank plenty today walked into work and will do some painting later to keep busy.

Morning, lost the last 2 days amongst decluttering decorating and manically moving bedrooms GAWD I am knackered I would give anything for us both to have a week off work just to sit and do nothing but only time off this side of Christmas is going to be spent walking miles and miles around Euro Disney so on we march lol, Well it is weigh in this morning and I have lost 8lb which I am so so happy with as the plan is so so easy to follow (I didn't stick to it last 2 days as just ate what I could between shifts and decorating) but back on it this morning and have planned weekends meals ready.

I am juggling so many plates at the mo one of our regular girls in work has walked out no notice or nothing and as we are on bare bare staff numbers it is a case of upping shifts again I don't mind this side of Christmas but after new year I can't keep this up continually but then the extra 60 a week is covering my slim fast bits plus all the extras for Christmas so shouldn't really complain I know others do far more than me and still manage to stick to a diet plan so I need to stop making excuses and plan plan plan...

Coffee and a choc crunch for breakfast.
    snack bar
coffee and a peanut bar for lunch.
a s/w cooked breakfast so all nice and healthy.
Hoping to go see the Christmas lights go on in Pontypridd later if my sons up to it bless him he is still coughing like a maniac this cold is not shifting whatsoever the doc is adamant its a viral cold so no antibiotics I hope she is right, Kids poorly is any mums worst nightmare isn't it.

Hurry up Argos with that new blooming bed I got things to do lol xx
