Hi Joanne

Welcome to Wemitts, I can only echo what has already been written.

Set yourself mini goals, because those of us who have/had quite a lot of weight to lose will know, looking at the overall loss can be too overwhelming

Good Luck Joanne, you can do it :)

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I just want to offer a teeny bit of advice. I'd increase the amount of calories you're eating. In your 20's and being 29st you could easily eat 2500 calories and still lose 2lbs+ a week. If you start on 1500 eventually, you're going to have to reduce your calories and theres not a massive amount you can reduce them by...

Welcome!

I'm also using Cronometer for calorie counting and try to stick to a 1200-1500 calories intake. However, I'm quite convinced that the quality of what you eat is more important than the actual calories.

I look forward to reading your diary :)

well done jo that is brill x x x
