High or low fat

Hi all

Just interested in low carbing...how do you decide between high or low fat like atkins vs South Beach? What makes them both work? Im thinking of trying atkins but not sure about the fat and I want to eat fruit and veg?
 
Most essential nutrients which the body requires, therefore, depending upon the level of physical activity you undertake, you must change the vitamin and carbohydrates intake amount accordingly.
 
Have you thought about the primal blue print? Recommends loads of veg. Fruit, apart from berries, its limited on most low carb.

You find your own acceptable level of fruit and veg.I eat tons of veg.and sick to berries,.melon and apples as I have found they don't affect my weight loss
 
Agree that primal might suit you as make it work for you.

Low carb does work - but does mean avoiding sugars including fruit sugars. Actually our definiton of fruit is all messed up - we mean the sweet stuff. I actually eat lots of fruit ie tomatoes, cucumber, courgettes etc:)

Ref Fat - that's what promotes saiety so you eat what you need and dont need more. There is nothing wrong with fat per se. What ever you do - dont have fat AND sugars/carbs - road to ruin!
