hi i am thinking about starting atkins. I've ordered my books so going to read those first before getting started. What do you have for your meals to stop you getting bored?? I've never tried atkins before but seem to have been on every other one!! HA HA. Good luck in your weight loss journey.

Oooooohhhh I've eaten cr*p today!! Its still come in at 12 carbs but I've had 3 sero bars, chicken, mayo & cucumber & an avidlite low carb chocolate mousse!

Dr A would be turning in his grave at my choice of food!!!

Buffydog.... that lasagne sounds divine!

I have days where i eat just rubbish, but as long as its low carb it shouldn`t affect your weight loss.
the other day i was so busy i just ate 6 bars and no proper food all day.
Thanks god for vitamins, dont know how my body copes....lol

Yeah absolutely!! Made sure I popped all my pills today! Gonna make some oopsie rolls tomorrow looking forward to trying them out... I know I've just been lazy in not preparing things for me to eat thats why I've been grabbing nonsense!

Bit disappointed as I've only lost 3lbs in the past 2 weeks... was hoping for nearer the 6 lbs mark. Its been 3 weeks for ToTM too so thats probably not helping either!

Still its another 2 weeks til I weigh in again & that'll be my daughters 1st birthday! Woohoo!

Debating wether to move up a rung or not on Atkins... I am hoping that a month long ToTM is coming to an end so hopefully will see some good weightlosses again (or maybe not after a boozy weekend)

I have been doing induction since starting on the 25th June (although its not been a clean one) & am wondering if I should move up a rung? I'm not bored & am finding that I'm eating less so maybe I can stay on it for a bit longer & hopefully enjoy some of the fab weightlosses that I have heard about but not yet witnessed myself!

hi hun, if you are still seeing good losses and not hungry and not bored with the limited amount of carbs, then stay put but as you say you can always up the carbs a little to see if you still lose.

Thanks guys for all your support!

I have decided to register with weightloss resources & try to stick within a certain calorie counting range while low carbing too.

With regards to counting carbs... they seem to only count the carbs that sugar on products... is that right for counting them? I get so confused with how to count carbs correctly.

According to the website I have probably been eating too little carbs... could this have a detrimental affect on weight loss too?

i get confused with the carb counting too.
I count the full carb amount on packet, I do not take away the fibre either, some people do?????
I also try to eat under 1200cals while on atkins, which is easy enough as no hunger.
Not sure about too little carbs, as somedays i only eat as little as 5g.

I've let my spectacular fall off the wagon carry on for far too long!!!

So today I am back on track... feeling focused & determined to not let carbs rule my life!!

Started 2 new jobs this week (having just had a year off on maternity leave) & they are both jobs were looking my best is required! I really don't want to hide from photos on my daughters 2nd birthday like I did for her 1st & would love to have a great picture of me, hubby & my kids done for Christmas so I have to get my backside into gear!!

So thats it I've declared it publicly AGAIN!

I've not had the best day... after 3 late nights for the first time in ages my baby girl had a really bad night so about 2 hours sleep last night... woke up had toast & philly, then crackerbread & cheese for lunch with hula hoops!

My shopping is arriving tomorrow evening so wednesday is my 'D' day as I'll have the right food in the house & no more bl**dy excuses!
