Can ANYONE please help i have pcos and i get acne, i have tried the dianette and yasmine pill but they both make me hormonal after a while and have been off of them now for a while and my skin is just getting worse please help

I have Rosacea and have been on various antibiotics, and now my dermatologist has put me onto Roaccutane - which is apparently an acne medication. So far so good, not noticed a huge change, but I am only 2 weeks in. I think my face is calming down a bit though. I am feeling pretty desperate though.

Sorry to bring bad news here:( but there is a massive lawsuit against accutane. It can cause massive liver damage, night blindness, permanently dry skin, rosacea (all things I got from it). The one thing I am grateful for, is suicide rates are very high amongst it's users. I'm grateful I got through my teens. Sorry to sound so scary- yikes!

LauraAshley, hormonal imbalance usually cause acne. Externally, you can make gentle cleansers with green clay, which will soak up toxins making their way out. But the problem is more internal. When the liver becomes overwhelmed, it dumps garbage out of the skin. If you lessen junk and increase with cleansing foods, it will lessen. You'll be ok. I never thought I'd have good skin. I went from acne to rosacea to wrinkles. But now at 38 my skin is just right.

I forgot I had said I was on the honey wheat bread. I investigated it and it's NOT 100 percent whole wheat. It's basically white bread which is bad for you. I switched to real wheat bread. It's slightly higher in calories but still only like 140 or so for two slices, but from what I learned online is that the nutrients and fiber in it are essential and it is not processed like white bread, and it is a healthy eat vital to your diet. I'm not an expert on anything like this though, so if anyone has better insight on the matter I would love to hear it.

Hi,

We all are pretty concern about skin care, specially when it comes to acne. But to reduce acne I suggest you to have prescribed medicine that will suit your skin type. Some medicines, creams, Pills affect the skin & increases the infection. I suggest to visit skin care clinic & have proper skin care treatment.
More on you can also try out some home remedies.
- Drink Plenty of water
- Eat healthy food & Healthy Diet is also important
- Make a use of Turmeric or apply directly on Skin ( by making paste with the milk) it do not causes any infection & reduces acne too.
- Drink Green tea as well, drink tea increases the skin glow.

Hope this gonna work.
