My Mood: Rep Power: 0 ![]() ![]() | Hi flower, I am just coming to the end of my lipotrim diet and am worrying a bit about the maintenance. I have lost nearly 7 stone overall and am now just over 11 stone. I am thinking of calorie counting to help keep it off, no bread or pop etc. Must say I really enjoyed reading your post and hope i have the same success as you maintaining. cheers gray |

My Mood: Rep Power: 12 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | First and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS, you have done GREAT! I am glad you enjoyed my post. If I can do it, ANYBODY can. Calorie counting is the way to go, because no food is off limits. If you want something naughty, you just count the calories and work it into your days allotment. It truly is the best method by far in my opinion, because their is no deprivation and one can maintain this lifestyle for life. Best of luck to you gray in reaching your final goal and in maintenance too, I am sure I will be seeing you around. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 14 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Calorie counting, weigh in at weight watchers and started paul mcKennas 'I will make you thin cd | gray I think you have to remain a bit obsessed about your weight afterwards, more so than when you are losing it. I've lost weight before, quickly, on Duromine tablets 15 years ago, and the weight just piled on + quicker than I could blink - no mater how you lose your weight it's HARD to keep it off, because we are the ones who can put weight on, probably too easily. But by making sure you keep to your calories there is no reaosn why you should re gain. You've just got to tell yourself for life youre going to have to watch your intake - the end of the diet is the begining - this was the bit I had no interest in before, I was all concerned with the getting it off part - I wont be this time though - I can't afford to let myself go again. And well done on your loss - 7 stone is A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT!!!!

My Mood: Rep Power: 12 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Tomorrow will mark my 11 month maintaining this weightloss. I will weigh in tomorrow and update my current weight then. I love this saying and it is in my head daily as a reminder how important my health is! "Your body is the baggage you must carry through life. The more excess the baggage, the shorter the trip." -Arnold H. Glasgow Just a bit on Success/Failure Sometimes I think success - losing the weight and maintaining the loss - is much harder than failure - gaining the weight back. Since there are not many maintainers, obviously they gave up because they found it too hard to deal with the fact that this is a lifelong commitment to good habits like healthy eating and exercising daily. But for me, I am worth the effort. How do I make it work? Well for starters Nothing is off limits, moderation is the key though.... I can still induldge and and fit into my skinny jeans all because of the great new habits I am now accustomed to! |

I dont know why so many people gain it all back within the first year, I know weight watchers statistics are it'll work for 2/1000 people, thats only 20 maintainers in 10,000 people! 9,980 people will be back to losing their weight again (look how much $£ ww must have made in the meantime?) Have you got that link to that study site again with the maintainers being studied?

My Mood: Rep Power: 12 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's my anniversary! Today marks 11 months maintaining my 25 pound weightloss. I weighed in today 2 pounds under my GOAL weight, oh well a few pounds over, a few pounds under, either way works for me in maintenance! As long as I am maintaining I don't sweat the small stuff... Besides, the scale numbers are not as important as how I look and feel. I love the powerful athlete that I have become. I will continue to focus my attention on staying fit, strong and healthy for many years to come.. |
