Trying to set a reasonable goal weight?

HI

I'm 12st 5, looking at losing another 34 lbs minimum.

my goal is under 10 stone, but really i'd like to be less

I always wanted to be a skinny 50 kg , I'm 163cm 5 ft 4''

But i'm now as old as 40 and I don't know if i should let off the ambition to be a clothes hanger.


any advice?

would half way normal weight for my height - so in other words a BMI 19 - 25 so 22 exactly? that would be 128 lbs or 9 stone 1lb, I'd still like to be lower than that I still admire the skinny, i can't help it, feel like it's over rated these days and even Emillia Fox is starting to look old ::: she's my age

I was 8 st 10 for a few days as an 18 year old, so that is only 5 lbs more for the 22 years in between?

What sort of plan are you thinking of. Thin woman of 40 can look very good.

You seem to be asking a few questions all over.

Think of what you feel is the best eating plan for you. Start a food diary on here so it is obvious what you are doing; There is a calorie counting section on here that may help too, or were you thinking of trying sw again?

I've just been on here 6 hrs, posting and posting and it's slower than that on here
I guess i've repeated myself a lot but maybe not often enough!
I don't know - i have a good diet plan but i don't know if it's healthy

I guess i was kind of asking how do I know when to stop? with this weight loss
i've lost 17 and might have another 45 to go, but i know from before - when will i be happy? i've never been happy
and yet everything's cool as long as i'm getting thinner :)
 
I guess i'm doing the slim fast plan with vegan protein powder and soya milk or yoghurt and more snacks but fewer real meals

I have had today for example
an atkins shake
1 protien powder and natural yoghurt
a bite of my husband's meal
2 handfuls of almonds
90 g cheese
a frozen smoothie
an OJ with green powder (wheat grass etc)
When i can't stand it i go a bit slimming world / atkins and eat 2 meals of meat and salad for example and don't snack
probably those are the healthier days (real food) but i don't really see anything wrong with medium long term meal replacement.... herbalife you can do for years
as it is i'd just have to add one small meal and it would be maintenance

congrats on your almost 2 stone weight loss!
