Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Cambridge Start Date: Restart 10/06/2009 Start Weight: 252lb Current Weight: 196lb Goal Weight: 140lb Statistics: Total Weight Loss: 56lb Weight to Lose: 56lb % Lost 22.22% | A quick question for all you maintainers. Im on CD and have been since Feb 18th. Ive lost 5 st 2lbs so far and am hoping 4 at least another 2stone, which will take me 2 10stone 10. My question for all you having lost roughly the same amount as me is how many of you have had to have surgery to correct loose skin, as im really so very worried about that aspect of it all. Any help/advice/reassurance would be lovely. Danielle. x x x |

Rep Power: 27 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Weight Watchers Height: 5' 5" Start Weight: 224lb Current Weight: 144lb Goal Weight: 133lb BMI Information: Start BMI: 37.3 Current BMI: 24 Goal BMI: 22.1 Statistics: Total Weight Loss: 80lb Weight to Lose: 11lb % Lost 35.71% | Hi, I went from 16st to 8st, (8st loss) then back up to about 12st (4st gain) then down to 10st (2st loss!)... I'm currently maintaining at about 10st. As I gained most of my weight when I was very young, 12 - 19 years old, and lost it too quickly (and too much) so my skin was quite damaged and I had a mini tuck when I was 25, two years ago. If I'd been more gradual and sensible in my weight loss then things may have been different? Slow weight loss, cocoa butter and exercise would probably save you a few thousand pounds! |

More has to do with age (I'm ancient), how many pregnancies, and how long you've been overweight (forever), genes etc than speed of loss. |

Managed to replace loose skin with a nice 19 inch angry scar. Went in search of perfection...was never going to find it :-) Mike

Not perfect, but this way I feel that at least I chose to have the scar rather than having the loose skin I got from being overweight when I was too young to understand the consequences of it all.... |
