    Question Question please 4 all u maintainers.....xx

A quick question for all you maintainers.

Im on CD and have been since Feb 18th. Ive lost 5 st 2lbs so far and am hoping 4 at least another 2stone, which will take me 2 10stone 10.

My question for all you having lost roughly the same amount as me is how many of you have had to have surgery to correct loose skin, as im really so very worried about that aspect of it all.

    Any help/advice/reassurance would be lovely.

    Hi,

I went from 16st to 8st, (8st loss) then back up to about 12st (4st gain) then down to 10st (2st loss!)...
I'm currently maintaining at about 10st.
As I gained most of my weight when I was very young, 12 - 19 years old, and lost it too quickly (and too much) so my skin was quite damaged and I had a mini tuck when I was 25, two years ago.
If I'd been more gradual and sensible in my weight loss then things may have been different?
Slow weight loss, cocoa butter and exercise would probably save you a few thousand pounds!

I lost 8 stone, and though my tummy isn't exactly like Posh spice's, I haven't seen the need for a TT.

More has to do with age (I'm ancient), how many pregnancies, and how long you've been overweight (forever), genes etc than speed of loss.

Oh gosh. Just realised. Porgeous....she's lost about 5stone I think and she has her 'naked' piccie on her thread.

She doesn't seem to need a TT.

By the time I was 19, I'd lost 8 stone gained in my teens and I'd had no pregnancies. It must have been my genes that screwed me over if it wasn't losing the weight too quickly...

    Diet: Don't diet anymore!
I had a TT after reducing my weight but I wish I hadn't now! Managed to replace loose skin with a nice 19 inch angry scar.

Went in search of perfection...was never going to find it :-)

My TT is ok. Not perfect, but this way I feel that at least I chose to have the scar rather than having the loose skin I got from being overweight when I was too young to understand the consequences of it all....
