Welcome To Minimins.com

Like most people I have tried a lot of diets looking for the quick fix!

We all know how to lose weight and that is... we need to eat less calories than we burn and to do more exercise.

The vast majority of dieters like myself have found it near to impossible to lose weight without regaining everything back on within a matter of months.

Last year I started a very low calorie diet called Lipotrim and whilst surfing the net I came across a weight loss forum which I joined and with the support of the communtiy and their encouragement I found staying on my diet so much easier and now nearly a year later I have five stone off and I am still working my way to goal.

I have become passionate about helping others to achieve what I have done, so much so that I now have my own site called Minimins.com.

This is a free site for dieters to join and be part of a community where members can share their weight loss experience and recieve help and encouragement along their way to goal.

We all have felt so alone at times on our weight loss journey. Times when we felt we had it all under control and then something triggers us, like a friends hurtful remark or just tired and stressed out and things in general not going according to plan, or just got on top of us. Instead of turning to food when we are feeling emotional we need to think differently.

Changing our eating habits along with our learned responses to emotional situations does not happen over night. We all know that facing down temptations requires a change in attitude and this can only happen when we begin to believe we are worth it. We must make the effort and take the time it takes to learn new ways of thinking and looking at the world and implementing changes, for if we keep doing the same old thing we will get the same result.

By becoming a member of this weight loss community you have access to starting your own diary, new threads on topics that you find interesting and wish to share with other and form new friendship while doing so.

Welcome to all new comers and thank you for your support.

I am very nervous, normally I am all talk, talk...but the excitement of launching MiniMins.com has me lost for words for a change!

Wight loss is just one aspect of our lives, but a major one nonetheless...

I have created this site with the intention of forming a community that can express themselves through their every day experience of life.

This is why you will find forums like Hobbies, Entertainment, Second Wives Club, Nutrition and Receipes, Chit Chat, Poet's Corner and Blogging.

I hope you will make use of this site and find it an enjoyable experience and make friends.
