    Yasmin Contraceptive Pill

Hi I wasn't sure where to post this :/ feel free to move it if I'm in the wrong place. I'm looking for anyone who is or has been on Yasmin as I'm a bit concerned. I'm only on it a week and the last few days I've noticed a huge change in my mood, my mam died a few weeks back too and I'm also a new mam so i understand mood swings but this is getting crazy. Literally the last few days I've been a demon I don't recognise and also having crying fits for no reason. Also very vivid dreams but I like these! Anyone else any experiences?x

Not surprising your having mad mood swings with that kind of emotional turmoil going on, it certainly can't be helping.

About 5yrs ago I changed from the Brevinor contraceptive pill to Yasmin, can't remember why now but i know that i didn't stay on it very long because it gave me really bad mood swings so i swapped back to Brevinor.
Had a coil fitted last July the copper one as i wanted to get away from messing with hormones but now have really long, heavy painful periods so I'm having it changed next month to the Mirena coil. Oh the joys of being a woman and having to find the right contraceptive....bring on the menopause lol
