    Exercise and headache

Hi yesterday I decided to do a bit of exercise on the wii which was fine, but about a hour later I had a really strange experience with my eyes it was like water was rippling across them. That lasted 15 mins and then a headache appeared at the front of my head. It has been with me since on and off. Anybody had a similar experience?

    Exercise and headache

    Hi Lucy!

I recently joined circuits and always end up with a headache after or even while doing it!!

The only thing I can put it down too is dehydration, try drinking lots of water and regularly while exercising!! Another thing a bit more deep could have something to do with blood pressure according to Internet when I googled it! Try drinking more water and see how you go

    hello,

I have the same problem sometimes
Drinking a lot helps for sure, it could also be related to a too low level of sugar in the blood
Try to put your wrists under the cold water after the workout: this might help you cooling down and lowers your pressure

    Re: Exercise and headache

I often get migraines after exercise due to heating up too quickly. I can't take saunas for the same reason. Try making sure you warm up gently, in addition to keeping well hydrated.

Hi! Just saw this thread! I think that the symptom mentioned at the beginning of the thread is an "aura" which sometimes comes before a migraine sets in.
People who get migraines with an aura, get accustomed to them. You should mention that to your gp as well because it can be dangerous as it blurs your vision and it could happen while you are driving! Of course it's been months and months so maybe you have already found your answer! I hope everything is fine! :-)
